Phillip Daniels tweeted something like "ND kills dreams"
Just a bit out of line, IMO. Your boy isn't a saint, let's be real about that.
He's a parent. Some of us are freaking out over the time frame as it is... imagine this is your child ...

If my kid is innocent, AND I KNOW IT, I'm incredibly pissed. Now that's a big if right now, but this is messing with his future degree, future reputation, future earning potential, etc.. IMO PD has not crossed any lines. I hope DD is innocent, and comes back, but you have to worry about recruiting ramifications either way.
If this starts to be dragged out in the public arena(Daniels tweets) it will make ND look bad(worse) and it will hurt the program. This could turn ugly quickly.
Just decide something, anything, it seems like everyone is in the dark except the dean.
I wonder if espn has reached out to him or any of the other parents to do an interview? I would imagine that would light a little bit of a fire under the admin. Bad PR for the school and the football team. No way an investigation/resolution should take this long.
100% behind anything Phillip Daniels wants to tweet along those lines and I don't blame him for a second. If they're found not guilty and they've fucked with his son's chances of positioning himself for his dream, the NFL, fire away and I'll back it all.
I'm sure Phillips Daniels feels so much better knowing you'll be there to back him.....
In fairness to Amari, he was hurt most of last year. But I agree, DD could be showing out this season if....
After tomorrow, 25% of the season is gone. Need an answer.
I hope DD wasn't letting pops write his papers.
I'd be shocked if this has any negative impact on Notre Dame's public image outside of the most hardcore fans. Most people don't care because very few follow a team as closely as we all do. They don't watch press conferences or read what Tom Mendoza and Philip Daniels say on Twitter. How many of you can name the current status of any of the players Strong suspended at UT? Probably not many. So whether this is an appropriate amount of time or not, assigning some kind of larger consequence beyond whether these guys play against Purdue seems overboard.

Recruits pay attention and our recruiting competitors also will love to point this out to our targets I'm sureI'd be shocked if this has any negative impact on Notre Dame's public image outside of the most hardcore fans. How does that conversation go?Recruits pay attention and our recruiting competitors also will love to point this out to our targets I'm sure
How does that conversation go?
Saban: If you cheat, Notre Dame will take a long time to punish you.
Recruit: Screw that.
We weren't getting that recruit anyways.
They can talk about how ND will hunt ways to get you in trouble. That's probably not what happened, but recruits will believe anything.
Considering what, 80% of college students cheat? Even the good ones? That's a scary thought IMO.
Boom-better then what I had written in response...They can talk about how ND will hunt ways to get you in trouble. That's probably not what happened, but recruits will believe anything.
