Anyone been following the Jussie Smollett case?
I'm a fan of Empire (absolutey love TH and TPH), and thought what was reported was horrible when first aired. Haven't paid any attention to it, but just saw an update. It's starting to sound real fishy.
-happened on the way back from grabbing a sandwich from Subway at 2am
-Maga hat wearing attackers spewing racist and gay bashing crap
-tied a noose around his neck and poured bleach on him
not computing
-the area has an abundance of video surveillance. nothing picked up
-people randomly carrying a noose and bleach with them at 2am in -10 degree weather?
-didn't call the cops until 40 minutes after he got home
-stated he was on the phone with his manager during the attack. said his manager heard the attack. but manager didn't call the police?
-was beat up and chemicals poured on him, but still had the presence of mind to bring his sandwich home?
-wouldn't let the cops examine the phone to confirm the call to manager
-cops released a pic from video surveillance with two "persons of interest". neither look to be wearing maga hats.

After this and Covington, the outraged have to feel a little burnt. I saw a run down / compilation of all the hoaxes since 2016. It was jaw dropping. One thing is very apparent, people love to lie. And those feeding the narrative love to cheer the lie.

The DA who dismissed charges had her campaign funded by a George Soros supported PAC (no conspiracy BS, he literally gave the PAC near half a million dollars). She ran on a platform of police reform and supporting the black community.

Wouldn't shock me to see him get the hell out of Chicago. The police aren't too happy with him.
He's the least interesting character on the show lol, so I don't really care what they do to get rid of him. I doubt it is him though, just because of the characters that does a lot of singing on the show.

I love that an African American and a Hispanic were the ones calling out JS's BS.
It shows that there are some sane folks in Chicago. The Mayor did a great job at calling out how this hurts how true hate crimes are viewed.
I've seen plenty racism from all races. Only on CNN and MSNBC, and from race baiting politicians, is it just whitey.

The dynamics of this are interesting. Honestly I'd have pegged Rham as potentially a guy to help cover something like this up. While he's still not my fav, I have a little more respect for him today.
Guessing the x-CoS inserted herself for the money/power on her own without any Obama consideration. I think the Os are too smart to get anywhere near this.
