TP, I have made mistakes as a fan that I wish I could take back. (couple of years ago, I foolishly called you out over a recruit/commitment) I can't, the only thing I can do is, hopefully, learn from my mistakes and not repeat them. NOw if you will bare with me, I want to loosely tie you and ND football together from my warped perspective. I love ND football for what ND football "is". Yes, we all like it more when that "is" is winning. However, I could never enjoy it if ND did it the way ALabama, Auburn, Ole Miss (I live in the heart of SEC country & all my friends pull for the "sec"). I have taken a couple of players to some of these schools camps and I have experienced first hand the benefits that players and coaches get from showing interest in their minor league system. I would have eaten my own are if this one young man in particular had been good enough academically to have been looked at by ND. He was a Special Education student that had NEVER taken a class in the regular classroom. He could however run like a deer. According to the SEC sliding scale for academics, the faster you can run, the lower your grades can be. I love football! It is my passion! I make my living coaching it! I left those schools sick to my stomach for football. I had to take a few days to myself to find my inner peace again. You see, ND would NEVER do that! The people that run that university make a difference in EVERY young persons life that gets a degree from there. That's what the "is" is for me! As for you TP, I enjoy your website, your posts on here, your tweets, and your videos. Everything I have had the pleasure of viewing from you has been positive, encouraging, and honest. So video or no video, TP is still in my BGIF of highest regards! Sad to say, but even ND has SEC caliber fans now.
