when we hired Brian KELLY all i heard was he was agood recruiter. well what is it with all these 3 star recruits why are missing out on the better players. it seems nd doesn't recruit as well as it use to. eveen under Weis it recruited better the coaching sucked we can't even recruit a qb in this recruiting season. come on kelly this was suppose to be one of your strong points.

I'll engage this only because I assume you won't be around here for very long. If you're not a troll or blindly enraged, you would have known that one of Kelly's biggest criticisms was his ability to recruit nationally and for high level recruits. That was squelched pretty quickly. Top 15 recruiting class in year 1. Top 10 recruiting class last year. Even if you think ranking systems are actually good, you should be impressed by that. Weis had one huge year, and everyone assumes he was an expert recruiter. This is the kind of **** that annoys the hell out of me. Unintelligent, mindless ranting that accomplishes nothing, adds jack **** to the conversation, and irritates the level-headed fans.

Grow up. I hope you were neither a) born in 1959 or b) graduated in 1959.

I agree.. and we shouldn't be so quick to hang the poor guy. A lot of us on here are heavily entrenched in the recruiting process. We watch and evaluate the videos, follow twitter comments, read local articles, weigh offer lists, watch 7on7s.. etc etc.

Well, a lot of people are just star gazers.. including this guy. Thats all it is. Dont worry Irish Mike, BK is getting 10x the athlete he ever dreamed of at getting Cincy and this staff will develop one hell of a program in due time.

But in the longrun as well, Brady Quinn was a 3 star and so was Zibby I believe. Anyway, I get where he's coming from......BUT the 3 star guys seem to always be the diamonds in the rough. If you're interested or curious and you don't follow recruiting that closely, why not ASK people that DO follow it their opinion, rather than go on a ridiculous rant that makes you look like a jackass?
