The crowd sounds amazing there.
Proud of the players, pissed at the coachesProud of these guys. They fought through adversity and ground out a win. Program showed a lot tonight, IMO.
They held them under 300 yards and got the stop when it counted.why is it as the o is getting better the D needs to be getting worse.
That's true of several others up there. USC, Michigan, Clemson, and others all suck.In a twisted way I’m glad they didn’t. This team in the top 10 is a fraud job waiting to get exposed, coaches possible whistling past the graveyard. 3-2 with a few plays away from 1-4 I’m hoping every wart is under close scrutiny.

4-1 team.
#16 in the country.
Announcers dick riding the opposing QB.
Sounded like the games of my youth.
I appreciate MFMF being aggressive.
Someone please tell him no need to be aggressive in the 1st half.
Luckily only 2 points were left on the board thanks to the safety.
Who cares about saying the right things… it’s about doing the right things. I can only imagine he will learn from his mistakes this season and will take a Transfer QB next season so we don’t have a thin QB room again.freeman says all the right things. he should make us proud that he is our coach. especially over that midget purple faced prick
He's definitely an outside runner and our best RB receiving threat. He shouldn't be there among the big boys trying to grind yards.I love Tyree but he shouldn’t get the ball between the tackles. Give it to 3&7 when you need tough yards
I wonder what he would look like getting slot WR reps that Diggs is getting at times. He's definitely an outside runner and our best RB receiving threat. He definitely shouldn't be there among the big boys trying to grind yards.
Diggs is like a nice blend of Estime and Tyree. He can do it all, although Tyree is just a bit more dangerous in space as a receiver and Estime can pickup the hard yards just a bit better. Diggs is shifty though, as we saw. I do like Tyree in the slot, he killed Ok St with his receptions.I wonder what he would look like getting slot WR reps that Diggs is getting at times.
What though the odds be great or small.A couple weeks ago half the pussies on this board were bitching and predicting the team might be lucky to win 2 or 3 games this year. Now they real off 3 in a row and just beat #16 and you’ve now moved on to bitching about the quality of imperfect win. Some of you are truly insufferable.
Proud of the team and coaches for grinding one out and continuing to show improvement and turning the season around.
My gameball goes to Drew Pyne. Kid is a tough and has made some really nice throws with no major mistakes the past two weeks.

Meantime equally proud and expectation-filled programs like Oklahoma, LSU and A&M are not winning. The perfect example of the space some exist in is complaining that Kelly would have won close games like Marshall. Then we have a close game that needed pulling out, complaining that well it shouldn’t have been close, just like we complained when Kelly was coach lol. But then any blowout victory comes with, we’ll let’s see them do it against _______.
Peaked in high school and haven’t stopped peaking sinceI really dislike BYU’s players mainly the defense. Bunch of clowns who peaked in high school. So glad to see ND win and cover against the 16th ranked team in the country.
Excellent post. Some of these posters aren’t even real fans of this team. No hyperbole. They are the first to go silent when Notre Dame does well or the first to prognosticate about how terrible the club will be. And if those tactics don’t work, they spit about how everyone is a homer or unable to critically think. But that’s okay. No ignores necessary. The creed of this fine board has always been to call out such bitchery. And call out we shall.A couple weeks ago half the pussies on this board were bitching and predicting the team might be lucky to win 2 or 3 games this year. Nope. It’s not an either/or. Critical discussion is not the issue. This argument about posters thinking Freeman/Rees is the second coming because of being happy about aspects of a performance distracts from the issue at hand. Critical thinking is and should be welcome. Not critical complaining. For example, “pissed at the coaches” is not critical thinking. It’s inflammatory. Differentiate with some thought and the board benefits.Amused at the "boos" that come from people when you point out poor coaching is what almost lost this game for us. . . . Lol, some people cannot embrace any differentiation.
It's either bury your head in the sand of the glaring coaching issues or you hate Notre Dame and are a troll. So ridiculous
Another inportant piece of this is that there is a huge difference between saying “didnt like that call in such situation, would have liked to see this….or wish the coaches would start using X personnel more, etc rather than the constant “coaches suck, player x sucks” which promotes zero productive conversation.Nope. Also these are college football players. There are going to be mistakes. If you demand perfection at all times in all aspects of the game, maybe just watch on Sundays. It's boring AF by comparison with the college game, but they all execute very well, or they get fired.Another inportant piece of this is that there is a huge difference between saying “didnt like that call in such situatiom, would have liked to see this….or wish the coaches would start using X personnel more, etc rather than the constant “coaches suck, player x sucks” which promotes zero productive conversation.
Those expecting perfection from any players or coaches or coming to trash the team or coaches with a clear agenda, or those who are literally NEVER happy…why watch, and why feel the need to share your misery with the world.
I'm sorry, does every post have to be a deep dive into coaching analysis? Are comments such as "pissed at the coaches" not allowed? Should one not be allowed to pissed at the poor coaching without it being a x's and o's detail explanation of why one is pissed at the coaches in later posts?Nope. It’s not an either/or. Well said. Not every play is going to be a winner. Opposing offenses and defenses are going to succeed at times even if you do make the right call, that's reality. Players will have off games, you don't know what injuries they may be playing through or other factors. If you see a team consistently dropping games they shouldn't or not getting better over the course of a season then it's fair to look at what's going on with the staff or personnel. Got to remember at the college level that you're consistently turning over 1/4 or more of your roster every year between graduation, transfers, the draft, and medical redshirts. Most NFL teams don't go through that much turnover every year unless you're a bottom of the barrel type of team. We also nearly replaced our entire coaching staff in the offseason, a regime change that hasn't happened in 12 years. There were going to be growing pains, especially with some big holes at certain positions. We're getting better though, and the future is bright.Another inportant piece of this is that there is a huge difference between saying “didnt like that call in such situatiom, would have liked to see this….or wish the coaches would start using X personnel more, etc rather than the constant “coaches suck, player x sucks” which promotes zero productive conversation.
