Went to school at UNC, but always pulled for the Irish when they played ... that was a looooong time ago 1963-67.

Just didn't have the grades for ND .... DAMN!!!!

Many, many relatives went to ND beginning in the 50s until two year ago ... more to come ...

3 UNC FOOTBALL STARTERS OUT FOR THE SEASON

North Carolina heads into Saturday’s Victory Bell showdown with Duke resembling a M.A.S.H. unit. Over the course of training camp and three games, the Tar Heels have lost numerous starters to injuries. The list includes linebacker Andre Smith, offensive linemen Bentley Spain, Cam Dillard, and William Sweet, defensive lineman Jalen Dalton, and wide receivers Thomas Jackson and Dazz Newsome. Sweet, Dalton, Dorn, Newsome, and Jackson were all injured in UNC’s road victory at Old Dominion.

UNC’s injury report, released Thursday evening, revealed that Sweet, Jackson, and Smith are all out for the season Dalton, who was seen leaving the stadium with a boot on his right foot, was ruled doubtful for the Duke game, as was cornerback Corey Bell. Dillard, Newsome, and Spain are all listed as questionable.

Really happy this isn't a noon kickoff.

Parking and tailgating is a complete joke by all accounts. Local ND Club is doing a tailgate at a Catholic School and bussing people to the game from there. Not a bad option.

For $7000 you can have my house for the weekend. Good luck walking to the game though - I'm a good 21 miles away. Not Dublin though, he would probably wreck the place and bounce his check.

At the start of the season, Proehl and Thomas Jackson were starters and Dazz Newsome was in the 2 deep at WR. Corey Bell Jr. was listed as a starting CB, Tyler Powell was a starting DE and Jalen Dalton was a starting DT. DJ Ford was the second FS listed, and William Sweet was the starting RT. Andre Smith was the starting Mike LB as well.

Those are some big losses.

I watched some of that game and UNC is not a good team. If we play well this should be a double digit win.
