I haven't seen anything from Gameday's Twitter, nor Lee Fitting's. Usually that's when it becomes official. But I hope it's true... time to get some style points.

It's a no brainer for next week that Game Day be at temple, unless they catapulted a SEC team way up the ranks.

I mean that never happens amirite?

There has been no official announcement, but Mike Missanelli who is a popular radio guy in Philly for their ESPN affiliate has confirmed it is happening, and the location is Independence Mall. Take that for what its worth...

There are no other "big game" match-ups that Saturday. At first glance, the ND-Temple game is the only one (at this juncture) that involves 2 top 25 teams playing each other. Plus with Temple starting out 7-0, why not?!?

There was a lot of "twitter" buzz that they may choose Stanford at WSU...because of the Pac 12 North implications if both teams win this week and the fact that WSU has a special place in Game days broadcast (their flag always flying in the crowd) , but yes I absolutely agree it should be in Philadelphia now that Temple has won last night. I have never been to Independence Mall, can any of the Philly individuals tell me what the bar/restaurant scene is around that area? Would be greatly appreciated.

Usually it is Lee Fitting on his twitter account that officially breaks the news just as an fyi.

Go to Wazzu. I feel like ND's record when Gameday is there is atrocious.

EDIT: did the math: ND is 11-14 in Gameday games.

My Tide is off next week cando so I fully expect Game Day to be in T Town then. It takes two weeks to cover something as big as that bye week fella.

Desmond Howard will be in full hate mode. I expect him to pick Temple in a rout.

Its alive. Its one of the nicest parts of the cities. Walk 3-4 blocks down from Independence mall to Market and 2nd streets and you'll have one of the densest concentration of bars you'll ever find. Never been to a restaurant over there but they are every where. Expect everything to be artsy, cultural, and a little bit pricey.

I'm really torn here. I'd love to attend GameDay in my old stomping ground, but not really interested in an 8pm kick where ND should stomp Temple.

It's also Halloween and I committed to a party. I may just get some friends together for GameDay in the morning.

I'll be at this game and since it's on Halloween I just got a nice leprechaun costume. I'm also going to the pitt game but I'd be in the student section so I may pass on the costume for that game haha

This game should be a blow out, but I'm sure it'll be a 10 point squeaker. I'd really like to see us come out on fire and sustain and have the game in hand by half. I know Temple is undefeated but they haven't played a team like us all year. Our speed, size, and athleticism should overwhelm them.

Agree with most of this. I think we'll manage better than -10. I'm thinking ~ -17.

I watched the Temple / East Carolina game.

If the Irish keep their identity on offense, the Irish should score around 3x-ish points.

On defense, Walker does not run. He had open holes on downfield coverage when the receivers were blanketed and he just stood their waiting for something to open up. He was averaging 5 seconds (minimum) holding the ball waiting on something to open up and then either overthrew the ball or completely missed on the route. The Irish D should get to him and I expect no less than 4/5 sacks. Temple will have to run quick routes underneath which should play into the Irish D's hands.

If this team wants to be considered a playoff caliber team, they need to beat this team by at least 14. They haven't beaten anyone that good and they have a chance to beat two ranked teams in back to back weeks.

There should be a lot of Irish fans in the building on Saturday so there really shouldn't be a home field advantage
