Could be a trap game, we've got to play the Bye the week before this one.

I just saw that club level seats are going to be $85. How is that possible? Or is "club level" at Lincoln Financial not what I'm thinking of when I hear "club level"?

The Temple ticket office lady just talked me into buying season tickets. I bought four in the last row of section 101 (lower level fifty yard line on the visitor's side). Probably the best tickets in the entire stadium. I paid $200 each but expect to get at least half of that back when I sell the Penn State tickets.

That's awesome. I might do the same since I was planning on going to this game anyway. Thanks for the heads up.

Important to note when you look at the seating chart, the home and away sidelines are flipped and most charts show the way it's set up for Eagles games. You want to be on the Eagles "home" sideline to be on the ND side for the Temple field setup.

Two of my four Penn State tickets just sold for $135 on StubHub. That's $100 each to me after StubHub fees. It'll probably work out to me paying about $100 per ticket for the ND game, which is definitely above face value but worth it for the guaranteed fifty yard line view.

Nice, that's sweet. Thanks for the update there. Do you know if there been any rumblings as to if it will be a day or night game?

with temple not being anything special in terms of national power/tv ratings...i would guess it will be an early game that espn would cover around 12/1pm...if not then, no later than the 330pm game

If I waited for those tickets, I wouldn't be 50 yard line, lower level, Notre Dame side.

Temple never ever sells out games but ND and Penn State are the two they just might. This is a huge year for them in terms of season ticket sales. They never have two marquee opponents this huge at home in the same year. I paid a premium for sure, but I think it'll be worth it for the quality of seats and the security of having the tickets in hand.

On that note, I might be selling two of my four for $125 each if anyone wants to go to the game. You might even get to meet Mrs. Wiz (incentive). Section 101, Row 31.

If anyone is still considering the season ticket route, I've now sold all four of my Penn State tickets for $100 each (after StubHub fees).

Temple opens the season as the #50 team on ESPN's FPI rankings.

The only non-Power-5's above them are: Marshall, BYU and Boise and it places them ahead of 18 other Power-5 schools including EIGHT from the BUC-10.

Sure would be nice if they beat Penn St at home to open the season and I'll say they will be 6-1 when the Irish head to Philly.

Ten years from now, Temple will be in the ACC North with ND but that's a whole other thread for the off season.

Wonder if that Mike Gibson guy is going to post another blog about how Temple is going to upset the Irish...when we played them in 2013 he was seriously drinking some Kool-Aid at the beginning of the season and at one point thought Temple would win 10 or more games in the regular season under their new Head Coach. They ended up dropping their first 6 games until they beat Army which only came up with 3 wins that season, then the Owls went on to finish 2-10

They aren't beating the Irish this year but this is going to be Temples coming out party. They had some VERY impressive defensive stats last year and they return all 11 starters. I wouldn't bet against them being a double digit win team this year and we all will be rooting for that.

Last chance if anyone wants to jump on a pair at $125 each. 50 yard line, Notre Dame side, lower level. Lowest asking on StubHub for this section is $175 right now.

Anyone in the Philly area want free tickets to the Temple-Tulane, Temple-Memphis, or Temple-UCONN game? The seats are the ones from the picture further up on this page.

No thank you, but let me know when you're giving away Temple-ND tix ;)

Already sold the two I'm not using because you jerks wouldn't pony up the $125 I asked. Ended up selling for way more than that on StubHub but fools don't know a deal when they see one.

I would be interested in the UConn game tickets, if you don't mind. Let me know and thanks!

Temple just tied it up at 10 with 6:23 left in the third. Let's go Owls!

I'm surprised at the size of the Temple crowd. I know the school is in Philadelphia but that whole state is PSU country.

Interestingly, PSU doesn't have much of a presence in the actual city of Philly, Notre Dame is probably bigger, at least from my own experience. But yea, nonetheless usually the crowd is pro-psu in the past games here. I guess it goes to show the growth of the Temple fan base witht the rise of the program in recent years.

Also Temple's D is legit, but Hackenberg is the most overrated player in recent college football history.
