If this team wants to be considered a playoff caliber team, they need to beat this team by at least 14. They haven't beaten anyone that good and they have a chance to beat two ranked teams in back to back weeks.

There should be a lot of Irish fans in the building on Saturday so there really shouldn't be a home field advantage

USC is much better then Temple or Pitt IMO.

Normally I'd be scared about this game but our very average defense won't get shredded by Temples very average offense. O will put up around 38-49 points as usual. 38-24 ND. Should be similar to the navy game. Also, Temple hasn't really played anyone all year other than PSU, the 7-0 doesn't impress me as much as Memphis's. I think Pitt would beat Temple on a neutral field.

Anyone else growing concerned there hasn't been an official announcement for College GameDay being at the game yet? Usually announce it either Saturday night or earlier Sunday morning.

Agreed. But "Notre Dame beats two ranked teams on the road in back to back weeks" sounds a lot better than "Notre Dame beat a 3-3 USC team that was in total turmoil" when the committee is trying to figure out the 4 team playoff

Yeah they tweeted that they are still undecided. Washington State isn't even ranked this shouldn't be an argument. Front lawn in front of independence hall would be such a sick backdrop.

They might do WSU just because they have never been there before and because there is a WSU flag in the background of every College Game Day show

Bahahaha I love it. ESPN loves ND. Biased against the SEC.

One thing I'm interested to see is how much of the crowd is ND fans. The secondary market for this game is INSANE right now... from Temple fans trying to get tickets. But early in the year when no one thought Temple would be any good, a large chunk of the tickets were purchased by local ND fans. I'm guessing it's about 25% ND at a least.

No word on Gameday yet? It'd be cool, but since it's in Temple it isn't a huge deal to me. I'd be more interested if it were at the holy land.

I think this was our cheapest ticket pre-season - tons available and under $100 for sideline seats. Haven't looked much since but I didn't even consider buying with Halloween and an expected patsy.

Fully expect over 25% ND in the stadium though.

I bet it's very close to 50/50.

I bought four season tickets just for this game, $800 total. Sold the Penn State tickets and the Notre Dame tickets for $1,000.

Without knowing anything about their history, I'm guessing this is now Temple's biggest game ever.

Two ND GameDays in 8 weeks? Plus the first ever SportsCenter on the Road? Obvious pro-ND bias from those assholes in Bristol. UNDSPN, amirite!?

Philadelphia literally doesn't care about college football at all unless PSU is good since there are so many alums in the area. Even then the city cares about the 4 professional sports above them. Understandable that people in Pullman would be upset but it's a meeting of two ranked teams.

Let it go, Wiz. Let it go.
Me NOT trolling an actual piece of ND-ESPN news is like Wooly not trolling a thread about how to properly field dress a black bear or Camp not trolling a thread about how eating tri-tip is scientifically proven to make you prefer white girls. Not gonna happen.
