Random feeling, MTA, Hinish, and our entire OL will show well i this game.

MTA and Hinish aren't used to playing this many snaps and they're big dudes - I imagine the week off lets them reset their batteries.

Same with the OL - I believe OL in general is prone to having lingering pains (not injuries) on the hands, fingers, feet, etc. This helps them come out with power and energy. Most importantly, Patterson.

Eichenberg needs to have a clean game. No false starts or personal fouls. Ok, maybe one false start early on since it’s a road game...trying to be realistic.

I'm fine with a personal foul early too as long as he breaks someone's nose. Kind of hard to do with helmets on, so big Eich will need to be creative. Fuck Michigan.

Michael Young will not make a difference one way or another in this game.

And with Pryor (safety) transfering in, and Book having no chance at NFL, and Daelin Hayes coming back... I'm 100% ok having another 2020 roster spot.

Our WR talent is below average. But losing one more below average WRs doesn't change that.

Not worried.

Koon Kooning. Below average in what respect? Because it’s way above average on the FBS level. It’s above average for power 5 teams. It’s only below average for a top 5 team.

Claypool, Von, Lenzy, Kevin Austin, Jordan Johnson are all way above average.

Does Michigan hate us as much as us them?
Edit: forget it, stupid question.

SDSU/NDSU over ND/Mich is a questionable decision, to say the least. Guess they have to break bread with the little guys occasionally *♂️*♂️

Look forward to seeing a #25 running wild against the skunkbears tonight - just like old times. I am feeling a big game for Lenzy tonight.

Go Irish!

Feeling nervous this morning. Unless Book can play the game of his life in this rain or Chip Long can dial up some good stuff I think it will be tough to score. Conditions are simply not optimal for exploiting Michigan's weaknesses. Kmet might be the most important player on the field if no one can throw a pass over 15 yards.

Maybe the best chance to win is to simply play conservative and ask the defense to win the game because of how much Michigan turns it over. I think that the most important players today on defense are Drew White and Asmar Bilal, because you cannot afford to give up chunk plays with a mistake. Corners have to force Patterson to hold the ball in the pocket and not get it out quickly like he did second half against PSU. Have to get some negative plays and takeaways when they try to throw. I think the rain impacts ND's gameplan more than Michigan's, but the good news is that it's sure to put a damper on the crowd as long as ND doesn't crap the bed in the first quarter. Give Michigan the ball first, try to force a three and out and get field position, take the crowd immediately out of the game. Against Georgia... and Miami '18 and many other road games in Kelly's tenure... the crowd has had a massive impact causing lots of self-inflicted mistakes and you can't have those tonight in these conditions. Notre Dame wins tonight if they're tougher and play a cleaner game, and if the Big Ten refs don't capitulate to Harbaugh.

Considering Michigan will probably want to throw the ball tonight, I’m not sure how the weather impact Notre Dame more than Michigan.

So Koon was bouncing back and forth all week with his predictions... What did he finalize with?

These blackouts in California will prevent me from seeing this game. Of course shut-off starts at 2:00 PM. PG&E is no bueno.

For all my complaints about Ian Book and the passing game, I trust them to protect the football.

If the biggest previous concern was our DB’s in 1 on 1 matchups with UM’s WR’s, wouldn’t the rain help that? We’re saying it’s going to force offenses to be more one dimensional yet that still favors UM? I guess to don’t get that logic.

What is everyone’s prediction of what Herbie/Fowler make a theme or subplot of in tonight’s game?

Mine is easy, they will have everyone but ND fans cheering for Ronnie Bell and the feel good moment of him overcoming his dropped TD pass last week. I’m already sick of hearing it.
