Im with you. Hopefully this doesnt turn out to be a Lynch scenario for him.

Either way, as of Saturday he is an enemy. Him having a bad day Saturday is a good day for ND. Im all for good days for ND.

Enough. Hood is no way even close to AL (not by a country mile). No one cares about your wanted beating of Elijah Hood who is not even UNCs biggest offensive threat.

The important thing this week is to again be injury free, and hope that Syracuse can push FSU. They don't have a bye until after our game, so we want them to be exhausted.

I hope so, too. But I think it's extremely unlikely.

Definition of a trap game. No way ND players aren't looking ahead to Tallahassee at least a little bit. We all are.

UNC was TERRIBLE in the early season last year before turning it around. Probably the best skill position talent on offense of any team we've faced... which is weird to say.

Their defense is so bad though. Oh my gosh are they bad. If we don't score at least 45 then we screwed up royally. And if we score 45... I don't see how they keep it close.

Keep doing what you're doing Lax... your reverse psychology act has some powerful mojo!

UNC gave up 70 to East Carolina folks. 50 to Clemson. Trap game or not I think we win by 14+.

Terrel Hunt out 4-6 weeks

Going to be harder to push FSU now, I predict a cake walk again for the Noles.

I kinda hope they dog walk Syracuse and start thinking they will do the same to us. Hunt is a huge part of what Syracuse does, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did. That being said, even if they do smash Syracuse, that doesn't mean they escape injury free. That is a scrappy Syracuse squad.

Still a little pissed about the 08' game.

We needed about another 15-20 seconds and the game would have been ours.

ND played them in Bball the following season and one UNC student was holding a sign that said "Hey ND, wanna play football?"

Jerk-faces.

I was at that game...oh the crap I took leaving the stadium...this will be a payback win!

I was at that game, too. Yeah, I was treated to some taunting exiting the stadium as well. Not sure where that animosity came from.

Even as a fan, its so hard not to look ahead to FSU. Can't imagine being a player. I bet we start slow but end up winning by 20+.

Big to have another week to try and get the OL to take a step forward.

I'm thinking 41-17 right now.

I worked with a former running back of theirs... according to him the average UNC guy looks at us as a football version of Duke and of course they have all the assumed misguided ideas and hate that would come with that.

You're a fine gentleman!

So far, while watching the Clemson game, the only standout I can see is Hood. Damnit.

However, they do look fast and strong... just a complete mess. No execution.

Yeah, I just read that on one of the links you posted.

Of course we should blow these guys up, but like I said... they really do look pretty athletic, and I don't think we've really seen that yet.

Stanford was very good, but they were a power team without a lot of trickeration or playmakers. UNC has both, they just can't figure out a way to get them the ball.

Like I said, we should dominate... but this is the epitome of the tired old cliche of a 'trap game.' Athletic/desperate team is going to act like a cornered rat.

I see UNC as a poor man's U of M. No offensive line, little consistency anywhere, and proof that skilled position suffers at the end of the line when business isn't taken care of in the trenches. The only thing UNC doesn't have is Brady and Dave.

Love the simultaneous props for ND/bitch slap of Stanford. Somewhere, Shaw is inverse smirking...
