Well to be clear that wasn't a shot at BB. I don't always agree with his posts but I respect his opinion because he uses logic and reasoning instead of emotion.

As an aside I think ASU scoring the TD at the end of the game was completely classless. I'm sure a lot of people won't agree with me, and I understand it is on us to stop them...whatever. I think Graham is a POS and I hope that one day we're on the other side of the equation.

Golson is tough as nails. He looked like Rocky out there today. He kept getting knocked out, and kept getting off the mat to throw another punch. Granted his punches weren't connecting like we hoped, I was really impressed with the giant balls he showed all game.

Someone addressed me DIRECTLY saying I want them to bench EG. I responded to that poster and indicated that I never said any such thing.

I'm perfectly happy admitting areas where I've been wrong this season. I expected Greg Bryant to establish himself as the clear RB1. I've been pleasantly shocked at Farley's play, especially his tackling. The offense is MUCH better than I expected when it's clicking, we're just too wildly inconsistent.

Sorry if I'm a bit defensive but I'm attacked on a personal level more than just about anyone on here because I work for ESPN so therefore my opinion isn't worth shit. When I get that thrown in my face every single post every single day, then yeah it feels pretty good to be vindicated. It doesn't mean I'd rather be "right" than ND be successful.

First, I don't see a problem if they would have put Zaire in for a bit in the 1st half (At the least). Golson has started out poorly in some games and was benched in the past...it just hasn't happened this season. It probably wouldn't hurt to let him get his head together and calm down.

Second, I find it amusing that some of the people defending Golson are the ones that threw Tommy under the bus last season. The consistency is about on par with Everett.

In retrospect of 20 minutes, I said that with the idea that golson was gone period (aka out of eligibilty) it was just so hard to sit through all those TOs and be taken seriously by your roomates.

Stuff happens. You lose one every now and then. A team can only overcome turnovers so much before it bites them. That's the only knock I have on Golson. He has to understand that his ball security issues are hurting the team. I am sure he does and feels horrible about it. With that said, start fixing it and on to the next one. In all honesty we have outplayed our expectations this year. Notre Dame was not picked to do all that much because of graduation and the five players dismissed. If we end the year with 2 losses it will be huge.

The statement that Arizona State "let" Notre Dame back in the game is beyond stupid.

Arizona State gashed Notre Dame up the middle to start the game and it allowed everything else in their offense to work flawlessly. Notre Dame adjusted and manned up, Arizona State didn't give them shit. That's not how it works.

Respectfully disagree and IMO calling someone elses opinion stupid, is ignorant in itself.

Arizona States game plan did change when they got up big. That is how it worked. Watch the game again. Kudos to ND for stopping the run to open the second half. Not as hard to do when the defense is flowing downhill because of no real threat over the top due to the conservative play calling. They did let ND back in the game. ND had no answer to the threat of Kelly and Foster simultaneously.
