Golson is the future and will get us to final 4 next year. We are so young and inexperienced. Losing Schmidt and Riggs killed us today. Despite the turnovers.

This isn't the end of the world...Obama hasn't been re-elected for a 3rd term....

This has been a really strong year...a year we can get 10 wins in the reg season....that is a year worth having! The experience our youngsters are gaining....Think how good Jaylon will be next year when the cavalry comes back to help him out?!? Our receivers are young but are developing at a fast rate...can you imagine what next year will bring with Robinson? and then if he has DD to help draw coverage?

Did we crap the bed tonight? Yeah....but it isn't a catastrophic loss...it's a loss we can learn from and get better from....today's game sucked....but for as bad as it sucked, we STILL could have won...that's how good our boys are....we can stink up the field and still be within 3 with mintues left....

What did we learn tonight? We're not there yet...almost....but not yet...learn from the loss and get ready for next week....this is a team that will win double digit games this year and I'm ok with that.

Yeah, they went up at least every other year, but the deductibles really climbed after Obamacare. Deductibles have doubled since 2008 when the wheels were set in motion with Obamacare. Also, in 2008 only 57% of people covered under health plans had any kind of general deductible, now over 75% have deductibles. I used to have no deductible, now for myself and my family it's $2200! To put it in perspective, I had a kid this year and I finally hit my deductible in October this year.

Good points, but it doesn't effect everyone that way. And I think it is also cherry picking numbers.

I think you also left out how it has helped people that have been either been dropped by insurance, or had previous diseases or illnesses and couldn't get coverage. Then again, if you support not helping all. That is fine. But, there are two sides of the fence. Just depends on how you look at it, and what party puts the numbers out.

Well, yeah, health insurance has gone up just about every year for the last 23 years...but not like it has in the last 3-6 years when you're talking deductibles. The numbers are out there, you can find them in USA Today, Washington Post, Forbes, etc, not really cherry picking from a certain' party's numbers.

Right now health insurance is basically doing very little for me at all because of the huge deductibles. I understand there are a lot of people that may now have coverage that didn't used to, but I can't be concerned with everyone else, I've got to think about my family first. I'm concerned with the thousands I'm going to be paying in medical bills this year that I wouldn't have had if rates were still increasing at their normal inflation rates.

Stuff happens. You lose one every now and then. A team can only overcome turnovers so much before it bites them. That's the only knock I have on Golson. He has to understand that his ball security issues are hurting the team. I am sure he does and feels horrible about it. With that said, start fixing it and on to the next one. Better days are ahead.

With all due respect... I realize you're a Bama fan that's trying to make the best on here as you always do but "better days are ahead"? Really? It's year 5 of Kelly. No one wants to hear that crap. Until ND gets a QB that actually has the drive to win, this is always a Belk Bowl caliber team and shouldn't be treated with the type of pity that you and others give it. Don't get your hopes up for a playoff bid next year. I think we can all agree there will be some academic issues or extra curricular activity; that will have season long suspensions and cripple the season. Just like the past two years.

That is your company trying to fuck you, it has nothing to do with the ACA. Companies are trying to pass of more costs of the healthcare plans to their employees due to what happened to the economy, etc. You are conflating two separate things.

Guys, as frustrated as many are at Golson (as am I), remember - we live by the Golson and we die by the Golson. Yesterday, we died. That's OK tho IMO, because this is still a HUGE step up from the last few years at the position. When Rees pt us down a couple scores early against OU last year, that game was over in the 1st quarter and that was only, what- 14-0? This year we went down 4 scores and almost completed an unbelievable comeback. That's all on Golson- both the hole and the rally. I can live with that. In the past, we lose this game after the 2nd ASU TD. At least this team is fun to watch. Golson is going to be polar. The rest of the team is young and going to benefit greatly moving forward from these experiences. Things could be worse.
