Could be wrong, but I don't think Clemson travels quite as well as some other big schools. Plus I'm pretty sure no one from S. Carolina is trying to voluntarily travel north of the Mason-Dixon in November.

Eh…. You will be surprised I think. My sister and BIL are planning on traveling from Memphis to go to this game and they aren’t even ND fans. They actually are both diehard Gamecocks fans but are trying to go to this game. Lol

I doubt the weather is the issue. The forecast is like upper 50's with a low of 44 or something. Maybe Clemson fans know that at some point their luck is going to run out. Maybe not next week but that's why they're played. The Tigers are simply a 5-2, 4-3 team that has gotten too much luck this season.

Dabo has said DJ is the QB. That being said we should prepare to face Klubnik as well.

If we can move the ball we can certainly win. That's a big if though. Points off special teams and turnovers would help a lot. If our defense comes to play this could well be like a 14-10 game.

Given our tendency to play up or down to the competition we have a shot here. And the matchups aren't an advantage for either team. They have an elite DL but our OL is pretty damn good. Our passing is poor and their secondary hasn't been that good.

Should be a close, low scoring game. You all know the story about special teams and close games.

I'm wondering if that Jordan Botelho spy package we saw late against Cuse was meant for Clemson more so then Syracuse, but as the game got tight they rolled it out. Getting that film for Clemson was probably not the plan. I could be off-base, but it feels like that was is tailor made for DJ.

It could have been the trial run to see how Botelho handled it to gain confidence in the implementation.

Shrader is normally a guy who runs quite a bit so I think they were planning to deploy against Syracuse but didn’t need to use it early.

I love the idea of using Botelho in this role because he’s going to make the QB feel it.

Yeah, I’m not sure how ND moves the ball against a DL of this quality.

IMO, a win is going to require the defense to play at an elite level as well as another DJU implosion.

Crist and Hendrix were my two biggest frustrations. Pyne I had very little expectation to begin with and he has lived up to that. Recruiting has killed us and not getting one this year is stupid and an epic failure. Buchner at least can run, but is inaccurate.
