I'm off to go see my nephews play in the playoffs tonight. (N. Canton Hoover vs. Canton McKinley), so you guys will have to work IE over without me, this week. I'll be watching the game, but won't have access to the net until I get home tomorrow. Here's hoping everyone has a great day, most importantly the Irish football team.
"NO LETDOWNS!! THIS is why you guys chose Notre Dame; not USC, Oklahoma, Michigan, LSU (looking at Kiel), or Virginia Tech. What you guys are poised on the verge of accomplishing, over the next couple of months, will reverberate long after you leave this University. Kids around the country will talk about it for decades to come. Those kids playing football in that park in Anywhere, USA, will be pretending to be Everett Golson, or Manti Te'o, or Cierre Wood, or Tyler Eifert, or Stephon Tuitt. But YOU have to make it happen, and you have to make it happen one week at a time. It starts today. Everything that you have done up until today has prepared you to stand up to THIS challenge. Go out there and take care of Pitt today!"
Have a great day everyone. And please say a prayer for my nephews. Canton McKinley is one tough out, and Hoover's starting QB (and by far their best athlete on offense) is out, so it could get ugly.
