Comes down to the defense to win this game. Their OL is still very good and they'r still very reliant on big runs to score points. Since Costello was named full time starter, he's about a 58% passer with 1 TD and 2 INTs averaging a QBR around 80 and 167 yards per game. Their WRs don't get separation, but they're all sure-handed and seem to win jump balls. Same for their TEs. A lot of big bodies. If you can stop the run, it's unlikely that their offense gets to 400 yards or more than 21 points.
Their defense has been playing MUCH better as of late. They're stifling people on the ground when in the beginning of the season they were getting gashed there. Pretty darn physical up front with good safety play on the back end. They're not really letting people get to 28 points, which is why their pedestrian offense doesn't matter.
If ND can get to 30, it should be a W. Conversely, Elko's defense might need to shut them down as it's going to be very hard to get to 30 without some luck.
