I'm at a bit of a loss as to why people have been calling this a "probable" loss. I haven't seen anything from BYU that would make me think that. Also, has anyone bothered to look at their remaining schedule? Boise State, Houston, Wiscosin, George Tech and Utah State. That's a really tough run based on how those teams have all played this year and there's a good chance that they could lose every game.
I wouldn't say probable...I would say possible...
Hoffman is going to get his. If our Dbacks lag, Hill can get it there in a HURRY, and he can buy time w/ his feet. He also seems to pick up good chunks of yards running it. We haven't dealt with that kinda guy at all this year(ie that kinda guy has torched us). The blessing thus far is Hill has no touch, and questionable accuracy.
Their running game is evolving.
However, no matter who we play, we usually get a guy's one game bid for all American. Expect that from Hill, or Hoffman, someone from the D, or just some guy whose name we do not know yet. Its coming.
NDs offense will score points...21-27 or so. I'd say we could score at will due to our size and advantage at skill positions, but we don't execute consistently enough yet for me to say that. At this point I think NDs defense needs to play a reasonable game, and the offense needs to start somewhere slightly better than suicidal...not asking for a well oiled machine, or even frenetic...I'd take comatose...just not pointing a gun at ourselves....and we should get the W.
