This is turning into the Irish Bang Theory! I like it! Glad to hear he is solid but also glad we are winning! I'm proud of the board for not flipping out over the rumors! That's the difference in 6-0 vs 3-3 I guess but still great to see!

... And that's an allegorical situation altogether for you literary folks.

Thanks, my mane man. My literary mind was literally overheating from the pressure. I jus has troubles figgerin' that sciencey stuff. I were befogged. Mayhaps 'tis time to review my kinescope collection of Don Herbert's Mr. Wizard programs from my childhood.

Anyone find the Anzalone thread around here?

Auburn LB commit Trey Johnson is visiting Florida this weekend on an unofficial and Florida is trying to get him to take an official later this year. You would think that if Florida had Alex in the bag they would not be pursuing Trey so hard.

Or they feel Johnson is a better prospect.

It's debatable.

Serious question for you:

Obviously Florida is your team, but is Notre Dame a team you also like? Like a second favorite? That's the impression I get. You respect ND and have a soft spot for them.

Appreciate you bringing this over, ALLGATOR.

Seems like Anzalone is not in anyone's bag right now. ND and UF are both hedging bets.

I have one team and its Florida but I do have a soft spot for ND and all the other power schools college football is just more enjoyable when the traditional schools are winning.

I have to think the Auburn commits are starting to pay a little attention to what's happening there, at Auburn I mean.

Auburn can feel very comfortable that Rueben Foster isn't going anywhere because they're are taking up his entire forearm!

Do you have accounts that you post on this much at all the other power school websites? If so, when do you eat?

I just don't see Auburn keeping all their kids when they'll likely not even go to a bowl game. 1-5 right now, wow.

Gene isnt that great of a coach IMO. The program went through a dirty period whre the NCAA couldn't proveanything wrong was done. They might have a new coach.

IrishIllustrated.com - Mind of Mike: Irish getting defensive

"Former Michigan commitment David Dawson was mentioned last week in this column as a guy that Muschamp could flip. Now, Dawson is de-committed and considered a strong Gators lean. While the Gators won't get all of them, there's a real chance that all of the commitments mentioned - Dawson, Jalen Ramsey, Demarcus Robinson, Alex Anzalone, Ira Denson and Elijah Daniel - could all end up at different schools. Anzalone is more likely now to end up in Gainesville than South Bend, Denson could flip if the Gators offer and Ramsey has his choice of closer options. Robinson is hard to read and Daniel could end up as a sign-and-place for someone."

So who is correct here, TP or Mike Farrell?

There is no way Anzalone is "more likely" to end up at Florida at this current junction. It's very possible, and we'll know more after this upcoming weekend, but at worst you're talking 50/50. I'd hedge 80/20 Irish.

but hes "solid"
Farrell is complete tard yes, but i would love to hear TPs reasoning for knowing so strongly hes solid, but all we hear is otherwise. and if the kids continues to take these Florida visits. To me that means nothing but he's still torn with the decision. Doesn't help that his dad is big Florida, but we shall see. Having him visit shortly can only help i suppose.

why do you say that because he is currently committed to ND? You honestly think its 80/20?
