I think the big question is would we rather have Book start if he is say 80% healthy or Wimbush at 100%?

The last thing I want is for us to start Book because we are nervous and then he re-injures himself and we have to change the gameplan mid-game.

I would rather have Book at 80% because he took his injury first half against Northwestern and played lights out in the second half.

Dungey is a gamer. He plays big in their biggest games. And opposing QBs tend to do that to ND anyway so that makes me nervous.

Plus is backup, Devito; is good enough to beat ND, too. I believe SU leads the nation in TO margin so Book & Co. needs to put four quarters together and avoid the first quarter TOs that they’ve been prone to. What makes SU different from previous years under Babers is that he now has a good running game.

I have to argue that the bolded is not a very educated statement.

Clemson won but they were far from the better team that day. Trevor did go down with a neck or head injury in the first half and Syracuse was putting the juice to them before he went down. It took some terrible calls by the officials and a lucky pass by there 3rd string qb (Kelly Bryant quit the team that week because his vagina was hurting) to pull out the win.

They really shouldn't have won that game all things considered.

Last time we beat Ohio State was in 1936. This time we have a good team to win against them. I really want to see ND destroy Ohio State as revenge.

I'm not wanting to argue but did you watch the game or just read ESPN's take after? Syracuse was pretty dominant in the first half and seemed to get the shitty end of every 50-50 call in the second half. I wish Trevor Lawrence would have played the whole game. Syracuse would have won by 10. Clemson escaped the game by turning to the run and had some egregious penalties not called against them.
