I thought you were talking about Armstrong and was wondering how he'd have a limp from cracked ribs...

When I saw "KH" in the post Lax responded to, my first thought was, "What happened to Hinish?" lol

I actually like Fowler and Herbie, what's your beef? Just curious, not arguing haha
Herbie I like, Fowler mispronounces more names than anyone I’ve listened too and more often than not has bad takes and doesn’t always seem to know what is going on while a play develops IMO, he should stick to tennis.

I know he did mainly 'High-End' games and the SEC, but I sure miss Keith Jackson.

I tore my pec while weight lifting in high school, and I was so surprised and shocked by the pain (and so disgusted by the feeling of my muscle very clearly separating and rolling) that I started limping out of the weight room when they pulled the bar off of me.

My legs were fine, but I didn't know what to do.

Yeah but you never earned the moniker of "would beat Koon in the Oklahoma drill" whereas Koon would NEVER try to go against Armstrong, out of respek

Cruising around Hooville, they are awfully confident for Saturday. I don’t think they realize how different ND has been since Blacksburg.

(Sorry for the tweet link, I’m dumb and still can’t figure out photo uploads on the new site)

ISD poster with UVA connection saying Armstrong out this weekend. Checked with my guy at UVA and he said he’s still not practicing and will still be a game time decision but “doubtful.”

I'll believe it when I see it. These "maybes" always seem to be definites come game time. Riding in on the white horse and everything.
That said, don't you have to practice like...once at least during game week to be able to suit up? Maybe that's just a high school thing.

Not once in two weeks at that. Without have to think there would be some serious rust and missing if any special install

You have to be careful with those 5lb weights. :jump:

I am so sick of night games at this point

I must be in the minority. All day to get work done and keep the Mrs happy. Then sit back and relax. Well maybe not relax, but you get the idea.

Always appreciate your insider info Lax.

how much has the spread shifted over the week? I gotta imagine that Vegas would quickly shift the spread if Virginia's going with a backup right? And they usually are in the know quicker than most.

Thank you, Lax. I just bet ND to cover based on this insight. Much appreciated

I'm sure Lax will be happy to reimburse you if his info proves incorrect. LOL

On a more serious note, watch Sampson's twitter pre game for an update. He usually tweets if a key player is (is not) warming up with the starters. Then bet again. Might even get a middle.

For real. I’m off Saturday too, I was hoping for a noon/3:30 game, but I shoulda known better.

In all honesty, I was hoping for the opposite. I have plans to tailgate and watch the North Ave Trade School play Backup College in the afternoon. My girlfriend is a Tech alum and it should be nice scout them out the week before we play them. Looks like I’ll get to see 5 star Phil sling it a bit as well.

Also of note VA's leading receiver, Kemp, and leading RB rusher, Taulapapa, both left the BYU game with injuries and didn't return. I don't think there's been updates on either of those either. That's a big chunk of their offense.

I just dumped money on ND -5.5 and the over, but I'm banking on ND hanging 40 on these guys and VA's offense still moving the ball easily as it has much of the year. If Armstrong, Kemp, and Taulapapa are all out or doubtful or at best, less than 100%, I'm wondering if ND's defense can keep them under 25 points...?
