While there are some Miami fans that seem concerned about our run game and O line, they seem to be way in the minority. Also, they constantly bring up that WF got 37 on us, but no one says that UGA is the only other team that made it as high as 20. The other common refrain is that they should load the box and let BW try to beat you with his arm. Like that isn't how everyone else has been trying to do that to us.
I know its not the coaches, but it really is interesting how few of their fans seem to even be concerned about this game and are just trying to figure out how lopsided their win will be.
Personally, I think we could lose this one if we don't concentrate and work hard and be consistent. But I am optimistic that we will win because for the most part we have been concentrating on what we are supposed to be doing and have had a lot of consistency and growth over the season as we got more and more used to both of our new coordinators and their schemes as well as our starting QB grow over the year as he has gotten more and more starts and snaps. If we don't give into the hype and continue to grind and grit our way thru, I think we win by about 10 points.

The Notre Dame vs. Miami rivalry is the most relevant in this monstrous weekend of college football
Oh boy. Subtitle: "The storied matchup proves the woes of the country are rarely far from the field."
I really don't see much special about their offense.... Their QB doesn't seem accurate downfield
Everything is focused on our O line vs that front, but I'm much more interested to see our defense in this game.

from the mother ship, ACC Week 11 picks: Can Miami make a playoff statement vs. Notre Dame? - ACC Blog- ESPN
No. 3 Notre Dame (8-1) at No. 7 Miami (8-0), 8 p.m. ET, ABC
Hale: Last week, I had no good reason to pick Miami, but I wanted to zig when Andrea zagged. I’m doing the same this week. I actually like Miami in this game, but it’s worth noting that the Canes have allowed 52 runs of 10 yards or more this season -- among the worst in the Power 5. That’s bad news against the Irish ground game. Notre Dame 28, Miami 24
Adelson: On paper, most of the matchups point to the Irish, and if Notre Dame wins by two touchdowns it would not come as a huge surprise. But Miami has this belief and confidence and a defense that has a newfound swagger after shutting down Virginia Tech's run game and creating four turnovers for the third straight game. Notre Dame hasn't played a road game in a month, and the heat could be a factor in such a hostile environment. Taking a flier on the Canes. Miami 24, Notre Dame 21

Honestly wiz, why would you even link that trash? This Tinsley guy is moronic, lacking any sort of respect in the article. That last line is particularly disgusting
Notre Dame vs. Miami isn’t what it once was. And maybe that’s a good thing in some ways. But that doesn’t mean Saturday night can’t be the start of something real and relevant. Again.
Boss said if I text him during the game I'm fired lol.
I would be shocked if the score is that low for us on either account. This is not Georgia we are talking about here.

The funniest thing I’ve heard from the Miami side of this game is that ND is slow and they are so much faster. This ND Team is far from slow. ND has legit speed all over the field. To add to that, as far as pound for pound, ND is one hell
of an athletic team, arguably the most athletic north of the Mason-Dixon Line. And the Buckeyes, with their top 3 classes over and over, are the only competition in that conversation.
Their WRs will run by our DBs, that's no joke. It's important we get enough of a rush so Rozier doesn't have time to wait on the deep route. Their speed advantage against our DBs is my biggest concern defensively.
Their LBs are fast too, as are their corners, but I don't think that matters as much.

this, thomas and richards are burners!
I think we'll play off quite a bit to prevent getting burnt, but I think that's going to allow the Patriot's receive to get a lot of quick hit, 8 yard passes that move the chains.

Have we spied a QB all year? I don't believe we have had to.
That's a cause for concern, as Rozier has some wheels and this takes one person out of the pass play.
They have to predict us only scoring in the 20's so that it's a close game. They have scored in the mid-20's against the teams from a power 5 conference in every game this year with the exception of Duke which was 31. Not exactly an offensive juggernaut.
I think that ND wins this game by at least 10. Miami's only chance is to win the turnover battle convincingly.

Tillery was spying last week
Yeah, guys I'm showing you all of this cool stuff to get you even more hyped for Saturday, but don't forget the most important part: getting good beer for the game. Second most important part is repping me, you ungrateful jerks
