Last couple years haven’t been great. Under Kelly they’ve played a couple of good solid games, but many times they’ve played down to their level of competition. Hopefully they put their foot on FSU’s throat and keep it there for 60 minutes. Would love to see Wimbush get some burn in the second half.

I think they will have to. This is the biggest eye test IMO with ND being in the playoff picture. Clemson "Q'd" them and took away their will to play the game. ND needs to annihilate them. If this is a close game (2 scores) and if Michigan wins this week, I can see Michigan leap frogging ND into 3rd, should ND jump to third come Tuesday.

I don't think so. I truly believe the only way scUM bypasses the Irish is IF ND loses one (close games or not). Just can't see a one loss scUM team leap frogging an undefeated Irish team, being that is who their lone loss was against.

Me too. The last two weeks FSU has been blown out by Clemson and NC St. No reason for this thing to be close. Everyone else has blown them out so no need to hold back ourselves.

Agree. The committee would catch so much heat for moving a one loss team over the undefeated team that administered the loss.

This is a great showcase ND game. Perfect weather conditions for ND vs a southern school. Coming off giving up 70 pts. If ND doesnt dominate and blow these guys out, then that CLEARLY shows ND shouldnt and wont be a playoff contender. Odds are as things stand NDs 1st game would be against Clemson who just blew the doors off FSU last week. Pretty cut and dry here.
