I will never wear Nike. If they go that way, I'll be looking for old gear on Craiglist to wear.
Agree 100% recruits love Jordan and Nike, Adidas is bla it's more for soccerAuburn used to rock Russell Athletic back in the day; are they still around?
In all seriousness, ND needs to go with Nike / Jordan. I honestly think this matters to more recruits than use realize — hell, it can be argued that Oregon built their entire football program using their uniforms as its linchpin. You’ll never lose out on a recruit because your contract is with Nike. Whether you like it or not, Nike is the “standard” for football apparel. The NFL and overwhelming number of college teams have embraced the Nike brand.
Also, I honestly think there is nothing wrong with the Under Armour Notre Dame uniforms and apparel — especially the apparel the players and coaching staff is provided with. It always looks really sharp, and they’ve kept ND’s classic look.
Craigslist, good way to get herpes buying anything off of craigslist. It is science.I will never wear Nike. If they go that way, I'll be looking for old gear on Craiglist to wear.
Jordan became its own brand in 1997. Nike allowed them to operate on their own as a separate entity but it is still technically Nike. Not sure if you're joking, but I LOVE their golf polos.
New Balance makes some really comfy shoes.
Adidas make the best golf shorts.
I thought Jordan Brand was just a division of Nike?
Why is everyone talking like it's a separate company?
Shame BK left ND. The branding opportunities would have been gold Jerry.i just want Starter to bring back those sweet jackets
The collar on those uniforms is iconic.
I cannot wait to pass on my ND Starter jacket to my kids. That thing was iconic.i just want Starter to bring back those sweet jackets
I still have mine. Quite possibly the best Christmas gift I've ever received even to this day. I wear it when I shovel snow.I cannot wait to pass on my ND Starter jacket to my kids. That thing was iconic.

Ferrari is a Puma brand. If we're getting stupid, I'd love to see ND brand with Ferrari and then go to some Oregon Chip Kelly throwback offense #branding
Champion makes sweatshirts. They don't make uniform apparel anymore, let alone f'n shoes. You old heads need to move on from the Champion/ glory days obsession.
Well, technically Notre Dame is "different" by and through their use of Champion --> Adidas --> Under Armour.Nike's just boring. Everyone wears Nike (or Jordan). We should be different.

I like that idea, like in pro sports, Nike might make the units but guys wear Adidas cleats or for baseball Franklin batting gloves etc.![]()
Why Notre Dame has a chance to usher in a new model of college apparel deal
By allowing their athletes to turn their feet into billboards, the Irish could build a huge brand advantage.theathletic.com
Intriguing idea from Staples - sign a uniform deal and let players sign their own NIL deals for shoes/accessories. Then use it as a recruiting tool. Kind of love it.

That said, how many "big time" (football) schools wear something other than Nike? All I can think of off the top of my head is Notre Dame (Under Armour), Auburn (Under Armour), Nebraska (Adidas), and Miami (Adidas) --- which looks really stupid on Miami.
This is one thing that ND needs to just bend the knee on. I don't own or wear anything Nike (I wouldn't say I'm their target demographic), but I'd submit that they are the best when it comes to teams' uniforms and shoes/cleats.
However, my one complaint about them, is that Nike does tinker with the colors of the uniforms.
“Sorry honey, jacket stays on during sex”HOW DARE YOU! I'd wear this to weddings and shit
