** I know someone who knows Across well. Dude can come across (that wasn't even intended) as a good dude, and he's very intelligent, but he's a di**. A straight up douche bag. Lives in Chicago but acts like ND owes him the world, and even coming off a 12-1 season he will do nothing but complain. And the way he and his minions took credit for Kelly changing his style shows you EXACTLY what douches those guys are.

They aren't happy unless they are miserable, if that makes sense.

** If they can do the jumbotron like they did it at NY Stadium that one game against Army, I'm all for it. I love watching replays, and I enjoy seeing ND related content during timeouts. And it can be used effectively to get people off their feet and cheering.

And I truly believe, that when it happens, ND will do it the right way. The fear is that it will morph over time as they see how much money they can make through corporate sponsorship, and suddenly it feels like Disneyland. That's a valid concern, but I hope the powers that be don't allow that to happen.

Blaming the women's rights movement as a reason ND fans want a jumbotron. Incredible.

Their heart is in the right place, they're just pointing it at the wrong target. The problem isn't jumbotrons. They should be blaming women for the posters of ND Nation.

This is my fear as well. ND will handle it well for about 5 years... then the ad creep starts in...

I'm hearing no chance Zaire plays this year. There are rumblings he has a shoulder injury still nagging him from high school and won't be 100% healthy this season on top of being a true Frosh as it is. I know we saw him throw in Spring game. Bash me with the question, source? and then makes jokes which is understandable from your point but bottom line is my source is very close to program and has not steered me in wrong direction yet with news or rumblings like this. Not looking to start stupid rumor.

I was hoping just like some of you to have him take over maybe mid-season depending on how the year is going but now I can't see that happening. Anyway, this is just a heads up to all jumping on Zaire Bandwagon that's all.

Couldn't resist posting..... he knew this a month ago...

NDNation is a circle jerk of uninformed people. The amount of misinformation there (All we do is throw fades!!!) is a joke. It is a fact that Cash, one of the Administrators, has an axe to grind against ND-I believe he was kicked out at one time- and ACross clearly hates almost everything about ND. It is a friggin shame they got the NDNation web address. People may actually think they represent the ND fanbase.

This is a great website: Sh$t NDNation Says

I can't tell what's funnier, the fact that he doesn't know who Rose is, his delicate sensibilities for a commercial that "doesn't represent the ND way", or that he completely misinterpreted the message of the same commercial.

Across DERP. Never heard of Derrick Rose? I watch about 5 basketball games all year and I've still heard of Derrick Rose.

Rose had the second highest jersey sales last year without even playing. The dude has won an MVP. He is easily one of the most marketable athletes in the world... and that idiot had never heard of him. Lawlz...

ACross... how a man that stupid makes it in life is astonishing.

As i have stated I have only been over there once or twice and found the board itself so confusing (navigation wise) I couldn't even find this clown across... but his name and reputation is such that it make me consider changing my name...

Almost like a good hearted German in the 1940's with the name Rudolph Hister...

He is essentially making an argument that Adidas should only market THEIR brand through Notre Dame and the "Notre Dame way." Also, You have to have at least heard of Derrick Rose. What amazes me in that thread is some people standing up to him, and his cronnies immediately jumping in to back him up.

If ACROSS hasn't heard or approved of something, it cannot possibly be any good.

Not to mention the commercial (which is awesome, btw, and this coming from a Pistons fan) is about the love of the game transcending everything else - something which is noble in an athlete at any level.

what a dumpster fire that site is visually, and information wise... i hesitate to even call it information.

seems to be all archaic views and members, which thankfully haven't been able to execute a simple google and find IE..

Um, maybe he doesn't.

He's actually a lawyer in St Louis. He does quite well for himself.

That being said, there was a story on there a while ago where he pissed someone off so bad that they collected a bunch of his posts and emailed them to his boss. The site went into a nuke period with people going nuts. He claimed that he almost got fired for it and was going to press charges.

My guess... he made the entire thing up just to get some attention.

LOL... wow... on that note, do we know the guy is a lawyer, or is it all according to him?

Well, on the bright side, that absolutely puts to rest any lingering (if there were any) thoughts that he and I are the same person...
