I agree that Kelly needs to go. But the level of hate at NDNation is unbelievable, almost comical.

Literally everything Kelly ever did or said was bad. He accomplished nothing and is a terrible human being. His existence is an affront to humanity, and a mockery of the Notre Dame that those fine and highly successful men (they are always resume dropping) remember from their college days.

What a crew.

Bad things could be said about any site. NDnation has by far the most alums on it and I think they make a lot of great points. IE has a lot of people who are the opposite and refuse to acknowledge that BK is at fault for anything.

One thing that is fascinating, though,is how a bunch of old school ND guys were basically having Twitter conversations 5 years before Twitter was invented. It's all short, pithy, snark, and lots of nodding in agreement.

One thing that is fascinating, though,is how a bunch of self-professed, old school ND guys were basically having Twitter conversations 5 years before Twitter was invented. It's all short, pithy, snark, and lots of nodding in agreement. It's Twitter with an even worse format.

Yup. Call it what it is. There are an overwhelming number of assholes on that site, and let's face it, some ND grads as well.

I still have no idea how any of you ever go there even without the tone of the posters, the board is impossible to navigate. From time to time, when i see this bumped or see NDN mentioned elsewhere i'll shoot over there to see if maybe things have improved in terms of layout... I look around, realize it's still stuck in AOL and I get a headache.

I've been checking out all the boards today hoping some random poster would come out of the woodworks and post some inside info.

It's important to keep a few things in mind with NDN:

1) The site is run by former band nerds who are bigger basketball fans than football fans. Their default setting is always to be antagonistic towards the more favored son that is the football program.

2) I'm not sure there is a more laughed at and joked about message board in college football from non-ND fans.

3) They've driven off or banned so many good posters that they're incapable of quality discussion.

4) I have some experience with their leadership and they are truly as embarrassing and insane as their critics allege.
