Buddy is on the lake today. Went past PG's house and saw this:

Why you shouldn't trust the media 101:

1) buddy put that picture on twitter and tagged PG
2) it took off, and the local media grabbed it
3) they have a chopper hovering over it now

I hope that's not even his house lol

Edit: Indy Star ran with it:

Phil Jackson is considering trading Porzingis. That's the Knicks only good player. Maybe the Kevin Pritchard can get Jackson to trade Porzingis for George straight up! lol

I'm a big Knicks fan too but if the Pacers could pull that off...AMAZING. Butler, PG...I'd take Porzingis over them both.

John Calipari can suck a !&@? I truly hope that they increase the D league pay and make it two years before they can leave college to shut this douche bag up.

Don't hate the player, hate the game.

To be honest, when talking about the NBA, I hate both.

Guy is an average coach, a below average player developer, and the greatest salesman to ever walk the earth. I don't buy his, "I do it for the kids" routine. He knows one and dones pay his bills, and the rumored changes would affect him more than anyone. If they go through, he will be coaching in the NBA within 3 years of the change.

That said, I have enjoyed this draft more than any in a long time. The kids have been very well spoken and seem like they can barely find words they are so emotional.

Hearing now that George is open to a trade to Cleveland and would consider signing an extension if James stays.

also hearing Pritchard didn't pull the plug on draft night, because there wasn't an offer he liked. Now waiting until after free agency starts in a few days to see where things fall out. The thinking is there may be some teams that could use George for a year to make a run at the title.

Think your right.

@AdamMKaufman

I'm told #Celtics offer to IND for George is LAL/SAC pick from PHI, '19 MEM OR LAC pick, Crowder, $$ filler (Zeller pop name, Bradley poss).

There's no way Celtics would offer all of that.

Looks like things are heating up.

In other news Jackson and his zen triangle are being shown the door.

I was curious why Irish#1's link wasn't enough to answer the Koon's question.

I have zero interest in the Knicks part he alluded to, but he originally posted and commented saying things were 'heating up' in regards to the Celtics signing PG13 and Hayward. This is why I bolded that part. Read the conversation closer.

So, things are heating up with the Celtics and the 2 all stars, per what?

Weird, nothing is bolded on my screen. Sorry then, disregard.

Very weird. So here's the convo:

my stand alone post 1: "There's no way Celtics would offer all of that."

Irish#1's reply post 2, which quotes my above post: "Things are heating up. In a related note, Jackson is out in NY".

my follow up post 3 (bolding the "Things are heating up"): "Per?" --- asking specifically about his claim about the Celtics.

I have no idea how this was confusing - I've lost my mind.

It wasn't confusing, other than it's showing up as unbolded for me. Must be something with my browser, don't know.

LA Clippers to trade Chris Paul to Houston Rockets

Desperation by Houston, IMO. They're giving up two solid pieces for an aging player who's on the down fall. Not to mention Harden just had his best year by playing point, and is better with the ball in his hands. Really bad move by Houston, but it'll generate a lot of buzz, so YOLO I guess.

Confusing to me as well. Paul is an assist guy first and a scorer second and Hardin is a score first guy. They'll have to have Paul handling the ball otherwise you might as well just put four guys out there. If you take the ball out of Hardin's hands how effective will he be?

So the Celtics did what they had to do, and got Hayward, but what else are they eyeing to do?

They essentially have three top 5 picks at their disposal (Brown from 2016, Tatum from 2017, and next year's pick from New Jersey).

If I were them, I'd not wait the ~4 years for Brown/Tatum/new pick to approach their prime (they won't be able to resign all anway).

Trade 1-2 of them now and go for another star players. Get ahead of the 76ers, and in line with the Cavs now. One more all-star level player and they can give the Cavs a 50/50 shot now, IMO.

Maybe Ainge is looking ahead, knowing that not all of these guys will stay forever. He may also be working on something still.

I chuckled when George was sent to OKC. I have a feeling Pritchard did this on purpose given George announced publicly and virtually eliminated any real trade value he would have had. With Westbrook, he may have to beg to see the ball.

Looking ahead though, in ~3 years, Philly is going to be no joke, at least on paper. So I guess if I were him, I'd go for one more piece now, and try to fit right between the Cavs and Philly. Even if they traded Crowder and one of their top 3 players/picks, they'd still be left with a minimum of 2 lottery players (Brown/Tatum/2018), so it's not like they'd be selling the farm.
