JLC was never my cup of tea, but she definitely found some magic in Tru Lies.JLC not my taste typically (for movie stars, still a real life 10), but that True Lies scene is crazy.
Kidman was my first crush as a kid and I think I had good taste 😅

Well true. Of course I have only seen one scene of Swordfish.Listen guys, nobody saw Swordfish because it was a good movie.

Harrison Ford wasn't even acting for this film. They just put the hat on him, gave him a whip, and then told him to act naturally.I saw "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny." It wasn't exactly bad but I wouldn't say it was that good either. It's an Indy movie so it gets graded on a steep curve. If you're a big fan of the first three movies, I doubt this entry will land much better than "Crystal Skull" did for you. It's an unnecessary trip back to the well that doesn't add much to the overall saga. And, while Harrison Ford is a great screen presence, this take on Indy as grumpy old man isn't that entertaining. Part of what made Indy great as a hero was not just his gruff toughness and intellect but also his charm and swagger. There is none of that here and the movie misses it. A few other things:
-Phoebe Waller-Bridge is fantastic and easily the best thing about the movie. This woman is a movie star and Hollywood needs to make that happen.
-The other names in the cast don't make much of an impact. I think Mads Mikkelson is great but he's very generic as the villain. Antonio Banderas is given a nothing role. And poor John Rhys-Davies looks like they wheeled him out of a chemo unit to be in this. He looks bad.
-I don't know if it's James Mangold or his 2nd unit, but the action scenes were very pedestrian and lacked snap or style. Again, being graded against Spielberg's work is a tall order but the adventure and excitement just isn't there.
-The VFW is solid and the de-aging of Indy in the film's opening is strikingly good.
It's worth a watch if you're curious and there's enough to hold your attention but it's still sad that "Last Crusade" wasn't the the last word in the Indy story.
Was a shame she wasn't in the most recent ScreamNeve Campbell,… original Scream… killed teenage me
I loved the original,… killing off Randy killed off the series imoWas a shame she wasn't in the most recent Scream
For some it'll be Scream for others it'll be Wild ThingsNeve Campbell,… original Scream… killed teenage me
Liked Richard’s better there,… not a fan of her white trash look in that oneFor some it'll be Scream for others it'll be Wild Things
There’s two things that really killed this movie for me, and I haven’t heard a single other person say it.I saw "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny." Blake Lively - The Town
So my daughter (11) shares her father’s history fascination and wants to go see it,… Ive heard whispers of some pretty adult stuff,… should I make her wait until she’s older?Oppenheimer was good, definitely study up on the Manhattan project before you go see it. A lot goes on and if you aren’t familiar with the subject much you’ll be pretty lost. It’s not going to be for everyone but for a three hour movie mostly of people just talking it moves along pretty quickly.
Bonus, you see some boobs which is always a plus
Only real positive of this movie is they actually killed off Laboof lol.
