We go on occasion. Mainly because the GF wants to keep me away from a bar...half kidding. :) Last we saw at the theatre was Richard Jewel.

What did you think? I thought It was solid. I remember the whole situation like It was yesterday, but I didn't know how much bullshit the FBI/media put him and his mom through. With cell phones these things couldn't happen today...

Unless your in Vegas and want to start a conspiracy.

I thought it was good - would give it a B. I remember when the bombing happened but not the details as I was only 15 or 16 then. Had no idea Richard was mentally challenged and I think the movie paints a good picture of all he had to endure along with how they used his handicap and love for law enforcement against him. It also does a good job showing how the media with false “facts” can negatively impact a person’s life.

I really can’t get into far fetched fiction movies like Star Wars for example. So, this one was right up my alley.

I was 17-18 myself. It was a huge year for Olympics In my memory. That one girl in gymnastics that had an injury and nailed that Vault. I'll always remember that great Olympics moment.
The whole Richard Jewell situation had built more media attention around the Olympics, which Is almost Impossible with the media being the way they are. It was shown well.

how many of you go see movies in the theatres? After middle school touch and feel movie sessions I just have never been a "see it in the theatre" guy. last few movies i've coughed the money up for were star wars just because how much i like the movies and its been something to do over xmas vacation. Other than that Ill wait until its on rental. I would way rather pay $5/6 to rent it off a streaming service and watch in my home vs $50 to have the "date night"

I go regularly. I even go by myself if the lady isn't interested in a particular movie.

I'm weird about my movie watching tho. I like no distractions and a theater provides that better than my living room...usually. I get pretty excited about certain movies too and don't want to wait for them to be released and I also HATE spoilers of even the slightest degree so waiting months to watch usually doesn't work out.

2021 should be a good year for a few movies, let's hope Avatar gets the sequel right. The original Is still top notch after 10 plus years.

First avatar was pretty bad people only saw it due to the visuals. I expect the new ones to not make the same money

I want to defend movie history.
There are certain links that can't be broke. Kinda like the ND fan that keeps on keeping on.

I was a big Spenser for Hire fan back inthe 80's. I also enjoyed this but they completely miscast Bokeem Woodbine. HE should have been Hawk, he was born to play him.

Other bummer... Where's Spenser's '65 Mustang Fastback and Hawk's BMW 635CSi?

Spenser's Mustang makes every list of iconic TV cars.

Not the better movies like the ones I watch. There's the story of the pizza guy showing up when the girls are in their underwear; the pool boy coming by to clean the filter while the girls are sunning themselves; the lonely women at a bachelorette party; the betrayed girl who seeks revenge against her cheating bf; the unappreciated girl crying to her boss; the milf whose son's buddies drop by when he's not at home; the coed who flunked her midterms but finds a way to still get an A; and even some great stories about college girls who want to try some experiments or something like that. Come on man, there are a ton of new, fresh stories to be told in the movies.

Silence Patton. "Pro-French Patton." Some really odd things being said in this thing.
I go to what Jordan Peterson said: Not one human could have stopped the Gulag.

Outbreak.
It's kinda similar to what we are dealing with today but on the extreme level. Great cast and really holds up for a mid-90's movie.
It's on Netflix now.

I'm seeing two of them on Prime.
Is there a remake or something?
Which one did you see?

No not a remake. He's talking about the one directed by Robert Eggers. Should have a black goat as the cover art. Stars Anya Taylor-Joy.

It's a masterpiece.

Thanks, I'll check it our tonight.
I saw one that was free with Prime that was directed by Chris Crow. Just wanted to make sure I'm seeing the right one.
