Jane Seymour has to be at the top of this list.

1973 (22yo):

Either CNN or Fox had a bikini pic of her taken in the last month. Simply defies mother nature.

Demi Moore when she made Ghost was cute but Striptease Demi is a whole 'nother level or 5. Had Congressman Dilbeck all shook up.

I've always been partial to Natasha Richardson.

Great eyes ... but when she smiled ... melted by heart.

Doesn't hurt that she was a Tide Cheerleader and Homecoming Queen, right Bishop?

Bish outed lol...

She got more sultry with age. Another one that comes to mind is Suzy Kolber. Talk about a quiet sultry and smokey kind of sexy.

Doesn't hurt at all. I still think she got better looking later in life than she was in college, though.

Raquel Welch. Hard to believe she's 78. She's always been a seriously good looking woman.

She's not aged well, but in my book the most attractive actress from back in the day was Julie Christie. Doctor Zhivago is like porn to me, almost. Good lord she was gorgeous in that movie.

Sofía Vergara is better looking now than in her 20's, I think. She's really aged well.

I think she's aged well. She still looked great in her 60s. Everyone hits a wall at some point lol... I don't have any expectations for 70s lol..

I see that with theaters being closed, many movies that had just come out, are now directly available on-demand to buy/rent.

Anyone seen The Hunt, The Way back, or Invisible Man?

On the topic of older women that aged well, just saw a show with Carla Gugino. Fit AF for 50ish. Still looks perfect.

Saw all three before theaters closed.

Invisible man was a fun adaptation. I think they did as good of a job as you could hope modernizing a concept that's 120 years old. Hate that I can't help but remember Moss is a wacko despite how good she is.

The Way Back was solid. Great performance from Affleck, certainly must have hit close to home for him based on the personal struggles he's gone through in recent years. Outside of Ben the rest of the movie and characters are kinda flat.

The Hunt was a complete mess IMO. It seemed like a film that went under heavy reshoots after the controversy surrounding the release of its first trailer. Spoilers below.....

My biggest gripe was that it was a movie about hunting people that feels like it should be the type where we see characters get killed one by one ala Cabin in the Woods, And Then There Were None, Alien, etc. Instead The Hunt kills off 75% of the characters in the first 20 minutes and then follows Betty Gilpin around for the rest of the time. My other big issue was the lack of direction Gilpin's character had. She's aloof and on the verge of tears he whole movie but we don't really know why? They intentionally don't give us any of her backstory because they want to set up a big reveal at the end of the film. That Hillary Swank got the wrong Chrystal, but because we know nothing about Gilpin why would we even care?

The Hunt had lots of promise but they squandered it by trying to oversell the political message and get away from the typical tropes that would have made it at least enjoyable schlock.

Didn't really read the spoiler part, but darn. The Hunt was the only one I really was interested in.. The Way Back seems like a remake of a 100 movies. Might try the Invisible Man. I've always loved Moss's talent, but she's always been a bit of a whack job in and out of movies lol. And while I'm a little turned off about lib-ness of the Handmaid's Tale (I don't blame the show, I blame the idiots that use the show as a battle cry), I think she kills that role.

Any other recent movies you'd recommend? Already seen Parasite and Lighthouse. Not a really a comedy, dramady, or tear jerker guy unless it's exceptional.

Yeah I was bummed too. My wife wanted to see Swallow and I talked her into seeing The Hunt first because it looked better to me and woof was I wrong.

Regarding Moss her being a scientologist is what irks me with her. also agreed she kills it in the Handmaiden's Tale.

Hmmm we were already sort of still in the fuck you it's January phase. Not much recently.

Any of the best picture nominees you haven't seen are worth checking out. This year is the only year I can recall where I liked every single best picture nom. Add Uncut Gems as well. I missed out on seeing The Lodge in theaters which I was pretty annoyed about, but it looked great to me and I like the whole cast. Keough in particular.

Also jut had to put together a Netflix list for my parents and brothers who are all going stir crazy and looking for things to occupy time. Netflix has a bunch of classics that all get GATTACAs gold star, if you haven't seen any of these they are all worth a watch. Drive, The Master, Her, Room, Pan's Labyrinth, The Hateful Eight (Netflix has the extended edition that's split into 4 chapters and the regular theatrical version), The Witch, and The Place Beyond the Pines.

Thanks Gat. I've seen most of your NF recommendations, but never Room or The Master (I think I watched part of it, but got interrupted some how and never finished). The Lodge has peaked my interest, and I've had Uncut Gems on my list for a while.

Cheers buddy

Honestly, I almost can not even fathom she's in her 50s...... It's actually a compliment I think no one puts her in this group lol...

I finished watching Gladiator today. I know it's loved in some circles, but that movie sucked. It was as shallow, predictable, and cliché-ridden as a Harlequin romance novel. It was like watching Top Gun without the planes. Some nice scenery, but otherwise a waste of time.

Yeah. It had the guy from Wedding Crashers In it who Is an ND fan... Can't remember his name. It was what we used to call a B rated movie.

Vince Vaughn.

Yeah....B movie for sure but there's not much left to see.

Bone Tomahawk up next.

You did not think Anthony Edwards and Mark Green singing, "You've lost that loving feeling" was Oscar worth?

Philistine.
