I think it's because people are still upset about how lacrosse wast stolen from the Native Americans.

Quite sickening over all. I feel terrible for this young woman, but the natoinal media will only do what makes them money or fame.

Yes, it is indicative of the fine caliber of men that Auburn University recruits for it's football team, that they can go 8 whole months without an off the field issue?

The arrest was ridiculous in the first place.. Apparently, Morrison was walking back from a nightclub and barked at a K-9 in a cop car with the cop responding to something across the street.. The cop arrested him for "obstructing" because he had to leave his post to see what the dog was doing..

The DA said the officer was overzealous and he should have never been arrested in the first place. Which is true.

Also gotta remember Arrest =! Conviction

If he saw it why the hell wouldn't he do the right thing call all of them to his office with police and everything important university person. How could you know this happened and not tell anyone??

While this case is disturbing on its own, if the coach actually covered it up it takes it to a whole new level. But, I will wait for the facts. Deadspin only had about half of them right with Manti. Give me a more credible source.

One could not describe the attention a ND scandal like that would get. ESPN would start a show dedicated to bashing ND over the scandal.

This. Didn't Vanderbilt get rid of these guys immediately? So, what's the cover up? That Franklin didn't turn the video over to the police?

According to the article Boyd was not one of the rapists but helped carry her unconscious body back into her dates's room. His text messages advising the rapists to delete videos they made and say nothing about it.

The article doesn't note that he failed to render any aid to the young woman nor did he alert the medical authorities, police, or anyone in the VU administration.
