I’ll let you guys take one guess at what happened in 2022 ☘️
Highest power rated 4-8 team of all time baby!Wait, we scored more than we gave up in 2016?

That was my first thought as well. It looks like the Nevada and Army games were two anomalies as we put up a shit ton of points on both and somehow didn't give up many scores at all. Among the 8 losses we had we were in it for all of them except USC too, the other 7 were all 1 score games. Those two factors explain how we still managed to score more than we gave up.Wait, we scored more than we gave up in 2016?
BK in 2016:ND should’ve been 8-4 or 9-3 based on advanced metrics, I think.
Not only did they have a generationally bad DC, they also had terrible injury luck, had a HC that totally fucked the QB battle and in turn screwed up the whole locker room, AND they had terrible turnover luck. Basically every fumble that hit the ground bounced the wrong way.
And yet, 7 out of 8 losses were one-score games, whereas 3 of the 4 wins were comfortable leads.
Yeah. We lost by 8 to Michigan State, 7 to Stanford and NC State, 3 each to Texas, Duke and Va. Tech, and by 1 to Navy. That's seven losses by 32 points combined. We beat Army by 38.That was my first thought as well. I wish they worked a special clause in his contract that he needs to retake the ACT..a 26 would be good lolPretty damn good for a guy with such a low ACT. He should be an inspiration to all of you.
I run a rinky dink trivia night at a small local bar and one of the sports questions tonight was “who is the highest paid football coach in the state of Indiana?”
Majority of the people are older and are a month behind news, so put Cignetti. They are also majority IU fans.
Felt satisfying to announce, “Sorry, that would be Marcus Freeman.”

"DEI hire."Love that Bevacqua said multiple times "Marcus never once made it about him. Always about taking care of his staff and the program"
Tommy Rees is the QB Pinkett foretoldThe cops are used to giving our QBs rides, just not used to them asking.
Freeman is fun to watch coach, fun to watch speak....ND & Freeman is a perfect match.
