2 days in, and I get to say it already: The Big East is a joke. They are like that big mouthed bully who runs away crying when someone steps up and punches them. What a joke. Thank God it getting disbanded and we will never again have to hear about how "strong" that farce of a league is.

I didn't think scUM would be this good. They looked really mediocre at the end of the season. Still, I think KU/UNC will be their first real challenge next week.

VCU just got blasted by 25 by Michigan. They were about the same underdog per Vegas that ND was against Iowa State.

Does this mean Shaka Smart sucks? That VCU is terrible? Oh the sensationalism....

Michigan is on fire shooting right now + VCU missed a lot of open shots

I expected a scUM win but a blowout shouldn't have been expected IMO

Smart has been to a Final Four and was very close to being in the Sweet 16 last year. Brey's well-deserved criticism isn't from 1 year.

That was a home game for Michigan and more importantly VCU has a history of overachieving. Most of us are complaining about the last decade

It's frustrating. like you said, nobody is saying Brey isn't a decent guy/coach, but I'm firmly in the "time to move on" camp. Monty Williams would be awesome if he flames out in the NBA. Just throwing it out there.

Really good. Arizona has been very inconsistent, but they're playing very loose right now. They have top 5 talent, though very young. Dangerous team.

Gonzaga played damn good. Witchita State just couldn't miss at the end of the game.

Shockers shot 52% from 3 and hit their last 7. Hard to win against that.
