What's the best site to get immediate updates on signings? (besides IE, of course). I am on ESPN live chat, but there has to be another one.

God. I was worried when he wouldn't confirm his commitment to Sapp or Dohn, and then everyone convinced me I was crazy. Now I feel doubly silly. What a devastating loss.

Torshiro Davis to Texas appears to be the surprise. I don't think Agholor will be the surprise they were talking about because one of the guys was predicting Agholor to USC in the chat after the surprise "carrot" was mentioned.

I've seen this Greenberry decommited happening a long time ago. Didn't think it would be to Houston though. I'm preparing myself for Kiel to transfer already

ND = huge loser on NSD.
USC = winner on NSD.

This day is a bad dream. Wish I could wake up from it. Hope was Agholor would ease the pain of losing Greenberry. Instead, we have to play against him now.

No, we don't. No one is saying "There's always next year." We're saying, it had better happen next year... or else.

Big difference. For us to be long term competitive, we have to sign a large class next year. If we don't, we're going to be in trouble from just a pure numbers standpoint.

This is an epic failing on the part of the coaching staff and really have to call to question the way that they recruit. To have 16 signed kids...hell, USC may end up with more, while they are on probation.

You don't build a program with 16 scholarship athletes. This is an epic failure on the part of Coach Kelly, and the staff. For any momentum they had last year, it is ALL gone.

You cannot compete with the likes of Michigan and Ohio State anymore with this strategy. Something is going to have to change, or things are going to go from bad to worse quickly.

And I want to be clear that I am not calling for anyone to be fired, or anything stupid. But, as any CEO would do after getting his backside handed to him, you have to go back and evaluate your strategy. My, my am I pissed right now.

There's no doubt they can get numbers. It's not like 3 star guys are turning us down yet. It's just a question of maintaining quality.

That's why the people who say class rankings should only be done using averages are wrong. You need depth as well, and that usually drags down your average ranking. A class of 21 guys with an extra 3 star FB is not weaker than a class of 20 guys without the FB.

This should NEVER happen at a school like ND. Ever.

Schools on probation are out recruiting us.

I dont' care about the 15-20, 3-4 star guys(maybe ONE 5 star guy), that we're inevitablely gonna bring in next year. Yes, I'm calling it now.

Even better? We have a brutal schedule.

Nothing like going 7-5 coming off a 16 player recruiting class

I am sure his coach-speak will be great. Does not change the fact that we will have no quality depth at many crucial positions. He can talk all he wants, good luck spinning that fact.

There is no surprise unless you include Greenberry. Turning Point has been saying they would get somebody on NSD, guess he was trying to troll everybody.
