Let's say I started a team with [picking among many gems] Kiel/Golson at QB, Wood/Mahone at RB, Eifert/Koyack at TE, Martin/ Martin, Watt/Hanratty, Cave/Hegarty, Lombard/Stanley, Prestwood/Nichols in the O-Line, Toma/Russell at slot, Daniels/Ferguson, Jones/Brown at WRs..... a real bunch of chumps, eh? Of course Kelly recruited none of those, did he?

You left out George Atkinson III. When's the last time a true freshman ran back two kickoffs for TD's, and against MSU and USC no less?

I expect George to get the ball a lot next year. He reminds me of Ricky Watters when he was at ND, only George did more his freshman year than Ricky did. He's got a great combination of size and speed.

Always pleased with the way Notre Dame conducts its business and the solid feel to the school. Let the drama guys go somewhere else-really guys how many of these guys do you sweat bullets over and then they are just a mid range player where/ever they go. As I have said before what bothers me most about college football is recruiting and how its morfed into the academy awards and secondly how/why certain schools always do so well. Its the same thing every year watching Ala/Fla/Fla St/Auburn fight (or bid out) for these guys. We all smell the stench from this and then there is the clean air of Notre Dame-I'm proud to say thats my team. Notre Dame when it wins is bigger than any conference and Notre Dame on a winning roll brings 'em in by the bucketfull. The issue is 'win'.

Hey I just watched the Presser and I have two questions;

They mentioned something about Facebook, what was that all about? I must have missed it somehow.

And was it in this press conference that he said that about "I'd rather play against him 4 times than coach him for four years"? I didn't hear it but I could have just missed it.
