Have any of you watched this yet? For those of you have who haven't, I won't give too much away but it is a great documentary on, JUCO football powerhouse, East Mississippi CC. Former Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace went there and so did current Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly. The documentary is definitely a roller coaster and after watching it I can see why Notre Dame doesn't touch JUCO players lol.

Loved it. I liked the coach less and less with each episode and at the end I hate him

Lmao. I could see that. I don't think she is bad though. She can only do so much for the players; they have to at least give a shit about their school work.

Yeah, I don't really like him either. What he said to the players after the incident in the last episode can only have a negative impact on their recruiting.

Yes, I watched the 6 episodes in less than 2 days. Definitely enjoyed it. Sad to hear somesome of their stories. It killed me while watching this that we constantly seem to have academic casualties, yet somehow these guys find a way to stay eligible...

No disrespect to EMCC, but it is probably a lot easier to stay eligible at EMCC than at Notre Dame. These guys couldn't even pass ND admissions.

I'm speaking more towards once they transfer back to a D-1 school. The Ole Miss/Miss St.'s of the world...

Love me some Ronald Ollie and DJ Law. Hope John Franklin is a flop and coach Stevens gets fired next time he loses his cool and decides to swing on a ref.

Apparently DJ Law's backup already has offers from Auburn and FSU. From the documentary, I thought the backup was better than DJ lol

DJ Law is the truth. I'd be shocked if he's not a NFLer.

Ronald Ollie is so dumb it's unbelievable.

She thinks her job is so much harder and more important that it is. Like good for her for helping all those kids but you're a professional babysitter.

Loved it. I liked the coach less and less with each episode and at the end I hate him

I was hoping for a mutiny and Stephens getting fired and the OC becomes the HC.

Amazing how many of the players not focused on in the show went D1 and were studs too.

Did he really? Thats great to hear. I felt bad for him considering he had to backup Chad Kelly and beat out a FSU transfer for the starting job and still didn't get a D1 offer.

You get to see why these guys are at EMCC. And it's not because they're stupid, though many are. It's because they're exceptionally weak and don't know how to handle adversity. They succeed on the football field because it's always been easy for them. They fail in the classroom because they're too afraid to try, even though they pretty much just have to show up and that's all.

alot of them were failed by their educators at high school level too. you could tell alot of them coasted through because of their on-field talents.

Out of all the EMCC players, I really hope Ollie makes it to the NFL or at least gets a degree from the school he transferred to. Talk about a tough childhood.

Finished regular season 11-1

De'Andre Johnson, ex FSU QB, turned up for them this year.
