I can't use the sarcasm font from my phone.....sorry, but if you had reading comprehension 101, I said last season Kiffin outcoached Kelly. Kiffys makeshift OL ran for over 200 yds. against Kellys D, and Kelly admitted himself that he got away from the run against Souther Cal way too early. Southern Cal came out with a gameplan and took it to ND, while ND was trying to be cute....they looked totally unprepared for such a big game with all the recruits in town, and ND's first night game in 20 years. So yes, Kelly got outcoached by Kiffy, as embarrassing as that is, its the plain, simple, truth.

Each coach's vote normally is kept confidential until the final vote of the regular season under an agreement between USA TODAY Sports and the American Football Coaches Association. However, when a voter volunteers false or misleading information about his vote in public, then USA TODAY Sports, in its oversight role as administrator of the poll, will set the record straight to protect the poll's integrity.

Kiffin told USA TODAY Sports by phone Thursday night that he didn't think the quote misrepresented his vote.

Mentor of the Year IMO.

So Jim Mora said on a L.A. radio station that one of his recruiting pitches to kids is the safety of the UCLA campus and that they, "don't have murders a block from our campus." Probably a little too far and he has since apologized.

The real pun though came when a random USC fan posted this picture on Twitter. It made me chuckle.

Then Kiffin responded to Mora's quote saying he didn't negative recruit, coming from the guy who told Alshon Jeffery he'd be pumping gas for a living haha.

So Lane (or any of his cronies) has never mentioned anything about cold winters in South Bend? Never tried to cast doubt on ND because of the last 20years of coaching changes??

The only thng that comes out of Kiffins mouth is bullshit and lies...

but our staff never said they didnt negative recruit like Kiffin did... You seem to be missing the point. Kiffin told the world one thing, when in reality, he is completely and utterly wrong. I dont have a problem with ND negative recruiting, but I dont want to see ND staff caught in a falt out lie... Kiffin has been caught twice in a matter of hours.

Holy hell.... he then gives his rationale as being he didn't want players to think he didn't have faith in them..... but if the voting is confidential.......................... and then he says he didn't expect it to stay private because "nothing stays private" while at the same time expressing shock and dismay over his vote being leaked.

This guy is a walking contradiction and makes my brain hurt.

EDIT: I just realized that the absolute funniest part of his logic is that he voted USC #1 in case his players found out the results of his secret ballot... you know, because they'd be so emotionally damaged by him not having confidence in them. But PUBLICLY is where he stated he wouldn't vote them #1.... which, you know, by that logic would emotionally damage them???

What a joke.

I would have thought that he was lying, based on what he said, but he did win 10 games last year. Therefore, everything he does is good, and any criticism of him is just sour grapes.

If he only wins 8 games this year, then he is a dirty liar.
