Johnny football and Pacman Jones - what a combo that would be on a Friday night...

So much stupidity that it would actually cancel out?

(Or create a black hole of stupidity that destroys the city.)

You're not allowed to come here and post that junk after your support of Manziel  I feel like you need to pay your penance and refer to Johnny by his true persona, the Money Badger.

I should neg the rest of you that have quoted the picture too. I may have lost part of my eyesight.

I supported him because he was a Brown. Now that he's gone hasta last vista.

I wonder when it will get in his head, if ever, that one day he will no longer be Johnny Football and just be another name on the "NFL Bust" list.

Probably the day his parents run out of cash to float his lifestyle.

Johnny signed a contract worth about $8.25 million, including a $4.3 million signing bonus and about $6.7 million guaranteed. I don't think he has gotten to his parents money yet.

True. Although flying to Vegas and partying in all of the exclusive clubs out there has probably made a very real dent in those funds. But the idea is that, as long as he has a safety net that keeps him wealthy, he will probably never truly face ANY truths in his life. He'll simply continue to live in a fantasy world that his wealth affords him.

That's true. When he has the money to do what he wants, he'll continue to do so.

I would bet those Vegas clubs are comping everything for him though. As long as he's famous, clubs will enable him as well. Nobody has this young man's best interest in heart. Including his family. It's kinda sad actually.

Is he really a bust when 90% of the teams knew he wasn't NFL material?

Yes, because that is exactly the definition of a bust, a player that everyone knows does not have the talent to play at the level--either physically OR mentally--and STILL they get drafted higher than they deserve.

JFF is basically Ryan Leaf without the height and arm talent.

I don't feel sorry for anyone that bought Manziel merchandise. I do feel sorry for the city and the fans, but I've basically disowned the team that I grew up rooting for.

You saw this coming all the back in '13, Ulu.

I don't blame ya.

 Was I really the first person to call it? I probably said it jokingly, but sure enough Browns management bit on the fake (Probably the most clever move Johnny ever made on or off the field). It really is mind boggling that he was taken in the Draft when he was. Everything about his college career screamed "athlete" but not Quarterback. You need a mature person with a strong football IQ to lead an NFL team behind center. Field issues aside, there of course were the numerous problems he had off the field. Given his persona and constant trouble that followed him it was going to be a long shot that he would do a 180 and grow up once he reached the NFL. It certainly seems like he's only gotten worse once he got a little cash in his pocket.

They will win again at some point. Your spot on the train is taken... No coming back.

If that train ever gets out of the station, I'll fondly wave farewell. I think it's going to be stuck there awhile though.

This quote speaks volumes:

Rosenhaus never has fired a player in 27 years as an NFL agent, according to ESPN's Ed Werder.

He can create wonders as an agent. He took Willis McGahee, who suffered one of the most grotesque knee injuries that I personally have seen, and turned him into a first round pick.

Manziel just doesn't seem to get it. Glad to see Rosenhaus take a stand and refuse to enable the kid.
