This is much lighter than I thought it'd be. Don't see a problem with it.

Oh no! Jameis Winston wants strong boys and silent, polite, gentle girls! Oh no!

OH NO!

I'm sure that his ultra-influential voice will overwhelm the constant, overwhelming, ubiquitous drum beat of every movie, TV show, song, sermon, school lesson, PC football message board post, etc., etc., that we want STONG, CONFIDENT, ASSERTIVE, BOLD young women.

We can't have anyone, no matter how minor, that thinks anything else! A million to 1 is not enough. It has to be 7 billion to zero!

Now it's all been undermined because Jameis Winston wants strong boys and quiet girls! He's undone it all!

OH NO!

I honestly think he's just really, really stupid. Did he even plan out his speech? Sounds like a post rape...err...post game interview.

All you need to know about Stanford's fake academic standards for football players is that Winston had an offer and was recruited HARD... with a 16 ACT, and the inability to form complete sentences or use remotely proper grammar.

Oh, and a penchant for doing/saying dumbass stuff all of the time.

Wasn't he a take for Stanford?

He was absolutely a take for Stanford. He was recruited very hard by them, and Shaw described him as the "one that got away" in an interview. But that doesn't mean he's smart. He had a 16 ACT.

Stanford's "tough admissions" for football players is fake news.

To be fair, we offered him too. I'm sure we would have pursued him if he would have had interest in is as well.

First thing that came to mind. This guy is literally too dumb for words, and it isn't a "cultural thing" like his supporters argued, it's a "stupidity thing".......

Right, but only a couple idiots think ND has crazy tough admissions standards. And we certainly have standards and there are many recruiting academic casualties every year with guys that don't get their stuff in order and we have to drop before (or even after) NSD. But most fans are realistic with the fact that we've gotten in some guys like Lynch and pursued guys like McKenzie that aren't rocket scientists and didn't have great academic profiles in HS.

Stanford fans? The vast majority of them swallow Shaw's bullshit hook, line, and sinker. His crap about how "why would we have a satellite in a state where only one kid can get in to Stanford?" they take at face value... despite the demographics of Stanford's offers and signees proving otherwise about the deep south. They truly believe that the kids they're signing are elite students... even when there is loads of evidence to the contrary, like Jameis Winston.

I don't think he's actually dumb. I think his parents, high school, and college failed him. He's been worshiped for a long time and, as a result, has no filter, common sense, or humility.

I don't want this guy talking to my kids, girls or boys.

I don't believe there was anything appropriate in his message.

His message, playing up stereotypes, and breaking things down to stark absolutes is very indicative of mental illness.

I feel bad for him, and for anyone who doesn't see his message for what it is.

That tape is scary. It shows what he learned growing up. It shows that he learned in in over simplistic absolutes. And there was no flexibility, whatsoever.

Since he could do anything he wanted to, that he set his mind to, what happens when the first girl says no, and doesn't sit their quietly, and take it?

I listened to an interview with him just before the draft. If his eloquence is any indicator; he's the dumbest dumbass in the history of dumbassery!

I thought he has a reputation for being a smart football player. Off the field, eh not so much.

What does this say about the person that asked him/hired him to speak to these kids? Who in their right mind would look at Winston's past and say "yup this is the guy that will motivate and inspire our youth"?
Also I do agree with the statements that this shows how he was raised and his true beliefs on the situation. They said on Around the Horn yesterday that one of the girls in the class turned around to the teacher and said, "but I'm strong too". Very sad.

That's weird, how did she know she was strong if Jameis Winston said only boys should be strong?

There seem to be other influences in her life. Parents? Teachers? Church? Who knows where kids pick this stuff up?

In case y'all hadn't seen this f*cking insane pregame speech by Winston on Saturday.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/MaQvViWmBb0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Jameis straight up looks on something, and certainly acted like it. Also, he's making waaaaaaaay too much noise licking on his fingers. Winston should practice this more; his W looks a little like crab legs
