you are some kind of foul-mouthed whore. He's far smarter than you and it's not debatable. He's guided us through some very turbulent waters and now he has the program in a far different place than it was 12 years ago.

We can agree on that, for sure. Like I said, hope it works out.

You guys are going to like his one on Monday.

He's going to lead the entire coaching staff out to the Press Conference with them all in matching suits, sunglasses and walking with the Vince Mcmahon swagger to 'Sabotage' by the Beastie Boys.

First thing he says on the mic,… ‘first off, let me set straight this watergate,…’

He's a relentlessly smug, supercilious bastard and took the path of least resistance here, per usual. I hope it works out because MF seems like he fucking rules but this process was shitty, and there were better options that a different type of dude at the athletic director position could have pursued, specifically Rhule and Aranda. Jack did what Jack was capable of and now we're all fingers crossed that MF can handle a giant step up, and that Tommy can teach himself offense. If they struggle, it's very possible that the program won't be in such an attractive state five years from now when we're looking for a coach again.

If you keep this up, we will have little choice but to reassign you to the "Undecided" category on "("Your Boy".) the sole contribution of Pardon the Interruption) US Gymnastics Jack.

"I can't stand rockin' when I'm in here

'Cause your crystal ball ain't so crystal clear"

And THEN the boys come out.

I might die if that happened.

I'll have you know that Lax and I are very important people who have lots of feelings about this fine football program. And Jack's presser was not good for our feelings.

there are kool aid drinkers in other posts who are buying both that it was "my decision" that Marcus Freeman was elevated to head coach.

Other koolaid drinkers feel that Jack Swarbrick has the "NIL" chalenge under control.

"And Jack's presser was not good for our feelings"

Truth check: you and Lax have a higher opinion of Swarbrick than I do. (calm down, all things are relative)

Watching him mangle the coaching search, compete with Woodward, an LSU grad from Baton Roughe, and play in the "Man's game" of NIL
is like watching a monkey try to fuck a football.

Swarbrick's tweet to Freeman after hiring was a real dick job.

You get to work, Jack. Why don't you give Brey another 5 year extension..

It is time to begin dismissal against Swarbrick. I am as serious as a heart attack. How can we foment this?

How was his tweet a "real dick job"?

I respect the job Fickle has don at Cinn but I really dont think he would have a heart for Notre Dame-just my opinion but he's a Buckeye and even if there was an opportunity to have interested him he's probably not real pro Notre Dame-I could be wrong but thats my feeling

This is probably not worth typing, but it has always puzzled me that people seem to think that an employee (even a very highly placed one like Swarbrick) would have the power to initiate and dominate planning on very big agendas without being significantly constricted by his employers. I've pretty much always thought that Swarbrick was in a nearly unwinnable situation much of the time, as he is eternally caught between what staff feels that they essentially need and how the real bosses view their "bigger picture." Maybe fans need a face to complain about. I'm boggled at how this fellow has survived this constriction for so long and done pretty well. I have been expecting his resignation and withdrawal towards peace for awhile, but wouldn't be surprised if he just died on the job suddenly. ... not sure that I see that as a plus in many dimensions.

do people keep lists in desk drawers still?

i mean phone laptop sure. but hard copy docs in desk drawers should be non-existent at this stage in business.
yeah, dude, paper trail.

Paper shreds.

Especially if hand written./

But the Phone is forever.

there are defendants in Washington D.C.
New York State and New York City

and other places that learned this lesson the hard way.

If you're going to do dirt or plan dirt you have two friends:

Burner Phones

Snail mail

I can provide consulting for a reasonable fee.

ND and Nike. The haters would have strokes.

Only UA gear I really have is ND stuff, and I think that's a couple of hoodies and a couple of long sleeve shirts right now.

Discouraging but at least he admitted that the Gug is woefully inadequate for the current needs and they are planning for the renovation.

The situation with the gug is unfortunate. But like most things ND is just one step behind.

I don’t like the price of UA but it does hold up well. I don’t like Nike. So I am happy to hear this.

Corporate, slimy creeps were part of my career for over 3 decades. My true mentor, many, many of my best friends, lifelong colleagues come form the financial services sector.'
But the vermin were there. the first tell was an MBA or a law degree. The MBA infestation arrived in the 80's.

And you learn the difference between direct evidence
and perception.

I don't trust Jack Swarbrick. He rises because of the feckless insipid John Jenkins.

And he is one of three humans:
Floyd Mayweather (his woman beating is far beyond what you see printed)
the two headed monster SkipBleepSmithSTEVieboyBleepBayless
Jack Swarbrick

who makes me press Previous Channel.

He wants to be the Jerry Jones of Notre Dame.

Free country, free university.

Don't have to trust him
don't have to listen to him
don't have to watch him

it would be nice if he left.
