Not surprisingly Dr. Lou predicted Notre Dame will run the table the remainder of the season and finish 11-1. He said this during his radio show "The Playbook", with Chris Carlin on Sirius XM College radio. Lou also said that Texas will be the best team ND plays this year. Lou is really close with Charlie Strong for those that didn't know. He also said that all the mistakes and missed tackled he saw on defense, watching the game live and on tapes are all correctable...Sorry Lou but I don't agree with that last one.

Well.....It's 100% fact that it is a correctable problem. It's whether or not we take the time to do it, that should be of concern. That's the crux of the problem. Fundamental football has went out the window for the sake of this "scheme" or "advantage" that we have now due to this all knowing DC.

Tackling can and should be fixed by MSU. I'd take a lot of time and preach fundamentals between now and then. Simplify everything, and focus on doing the little things right. If we do that, we might just end up average, but its better than being bad. Plus, we can win with an average defense.

Zaire has accepted his role on the team. Does not like it but realised he is the number two. Wimbush will not play this season regardless of injury. He will red shirt(his choice as well as staffing). Bearing injury mvg is more than capable of wining games. Better qb than Rees according to guy I talked too.

So Las Vegas just recommend to build a stadium for UNLV and the Raiders. It still has two more votes to pass but sounds like those will be passed. So a brand new stadium in Vegas, anyone think ND will do a shamrock series game there? Would have be big for recruiting Bishop Gorman and other Vegas players, So Cal and AZ players would all be there I am guessing.

I don't know where else to put this, but today is my grandfather's 76th birthday. He's a loyal son of ND, Class of '62. Along with his partner and my parents, he went to Ireland on Saturday and was able to celebrate his birthday by getting some Guinness and visiting the ND Dublin campus.

Careful, they've been on an upswing. They're usually one of the better MAC teams. They beat #18 Arkansas last year (finished 8-5). They've beaten Michigan in the last decade and lost by 5 to Ohio State.

This may be an easy game, and I hope it is, but Toledo can usually put up points.
