I have no doubt he will shoot up the boards this Fall. I'm sure NFL scouts already have him ranked pretty high; the media and "experts" just need to see him play LT

I meant more of not being sent to Detroit, but that too. I'd like to see him be drafted by a great organization, but I'm struggling to decide which one. Maybe he'll fall to the Vikings? They at least have a future with Zimmer.

Well Pittsburgh is always keeping an eye open for a potential franchise LT. I could see Atlanta taking a lineman early in the draft, Denver, Giants, and Seattle

Pitt, Denver, and Seattle fit the good organization definition, but I'm not sure that the Giants would take another tackle unless Flowers clearly can't cut it. Atlanta may do, but I wouldn't call them a good organization. Truth be told, I was thinking Pitt originally, but I know that floating that idea wouldn't be taken too well by some.

As a Lions fan, he absolutely deserves better.
Yeah. And though I have hope for the Bears, I'm not pushing him there either. If it works out, it does, if not, he should go somewhere respectable.

Showtime is the "ESPN the Magazine" of premium channels. Take away Shameless, and it's "The Sporting News."

I bet it's inflation from ACC coaches, trying to pump up the conference.

Help please, where can I find a reasonably updated two deep?

Free Safety Studstill, Elliott.

RB Folston, Adams, Jones, Jr.

Will Martini, Bilal.

No one else affected the two deep.

Not true. Stepherson was in the two deep, behind Hunter Jr. This may push McKinley or Claypool up.

Haven't heard much about McKinley through camp. Anyone have a read on how he's performed / acclimated?

Not true, Stepherson was two for X and three for W if we are counting. But Kelly and Denbrock have both been clear that Stepherson isn't slated for that much playing time. So other guys are going to have to come through.

With CJ really locking down the slot position, that at least provides a little flexibility and breathing room with Holmes, if Holmes does come through.

Because haven't Boykin, and Claypool have been moving up the charts more than any other receivers lately?

My worry isn't Stepherson's impact, because I think most in the car will be off the hook, other than Maxi, and maybe the driver; and, I am not sure Equanimeous is a number one yet.

He's pessimistic for all the right reasons, but predicting an 8 win season against this schedule is a little ridiculous.

How does the AP poll actually work?

Does #2 mean that the voter believes ND is the 2nd best team in the country?

Or just predicting ND finishes the season ranked #2? Because, with our schedule, the latter isn't too far fetched. The previous would be a little out there.

It means at least one AP Poll member had ND ranked #2 in their poll and at least one AP Poll member ranked ND #16 in their poll. All the polls are averaged together to get the overall consensus of the poll.

I got them at 8 or 9...The defense scares the hell outta me.

And so does production from WR and TE.

One thing that Brian Kelly has done consistently well is get production from his receivers. He has done for the last 6 seasons, there is no reason why he wouldn't get production from them this season.

We've got playoff level talent and coaching. It's fair to predict that some combination of our inexperience at WR, our lack of depth at DB, and instability at QB will keep us from making the playoff, but an 8-win season would require several disastrous games where we fall far short of our potential. It could happen, but it's not likely with our schedule.

I'm not convinced we have playoff level coaching at DC. In fact, if we did, I think we would have made the playoffs last year.
