Haha when was Marc's last year...96? I would have been 5. The reason I remember him is because he and I got our haircut at the same barber in South Bend (I even remember the barber's name was Tony) and I got the Marc Edwards flat top...I thought I was awesome. Funny to look back at. But he signed some posters and pictures for me and gave them to the barber to give to me. I don't remember much from back then but I remember that. Like I said...some of my earliest ND memories. A 5 year old getting a personalized autograph from your favorite player on your favorite team...you remember stuff like that.

Not sure if it's been posted but this is a pretty cool article on Marc Edwards with some awesome quotes in there from him. Give it a read if you haven't yet. Marc is one of my favorite Irish players ever...I remember him trucking dudes when I was like 4 or 5 years old. Some of my first Irish memories came from him.

If last season taught us anything, it's that it's fruitless to speculate on time of suspensions (if this is true). I don't know how many times the frozen five thing was going to get resolved, only to be the whole season.

A 4 game suspension at ND could mean he has to sit out until the official suspension paperwork is filed in November, meaning he misses the entire season anyway.
