I do believe that there is more to this.

But if these are the rules that they are supposed to follow and didn't then you shoould have listened.

Getting suspended for that is pretty ridiculous imo, but unless someone says to the contrary, then getting suspended for texting is what we know.

I don't buy it. It could be pretty much anything, but I doubt Kelly would suspend him just for texting friends and family. There's gotta be more to it.

This. Its disappointing, but RB is a position we have plenty of depth at right now. I'm down with Folston getting 75% of the runs since he's starting.

If the team rules say you eat your salad with your dinner fork, and vice versa, that's what you do. You don't have to like the rules.....but, it's probably Longo's fault.

Can't help wondering if this is the beginning of the end for him though given the depth developing/performance this year/dad/etc.

It's dumb until you look around the table and realize the rest of the guys on the team would probably like to be texting family and friends as well.

We have no idea of the situation, what warnings were given, what happened as a result of his texting (i.e., laughing, showing and distracting other teammates, etc).

I'm sure there's much more to the story than his tweet told.

Just like in HS when a kid goes into the principals office 'All I did was ask the teacher a question. Is that a sin?'. No, but let's add some context and see why your question was wildly inappropriate.

Man, George had so much promise coming into this season. Kelly had been high on him last season, saying he could be the starter, but he had two really good backs in front of him. As far as I'm concerned he can stay as the #3 back next season. Heck, maybe #4 if Greg Bryant is healthy and comes around. I'd continue starting Cam and Folston in front of him. He and his dad just make boneheaded decisions online and George can't do the little things right on the field.

I don't know if there is more to this or not,but if there isn't, I fully support the reason. I have banned all electronic devices from the dinner table. Texting drives me crazy when I am trying to have a meal!
