Did he announce he was leaving? Are you sure he actually "left"? Maybe he has just been in the bathroom for a while.

While I don't slog through each and every thread, I'm not aware of any formal announcement on his part. His current IE status is "Guest" with 0 posts.

Some of you guys are sad. I like GB as much as the next guy, but all this "come back PLEASE!" stuff is for scorned lovers, not message board buddies.

If he didn't "announce" his leaving, then I give him some credit. So many people love the drama that comes with telling everyone they are taking their ball and going home. They want to be told how very special they are. If dude doesn't want to post here anymore for whatever reason, he shouldn't. More power to him.

I wish Wooly would come back (for good). It got on my nerves when he would go too far (in my opinion) after TP, but I loved Wooly's posts. Still do. Like others said, we have plenty of reporters so even though GB was good for reporting stuff, the info he brought will be replaced. Nobody has picked up Wooly's role. COME BACK WOOLY!

THIS. Nothing worse than:

1) the bold proclamation that "I am leaving forever" (sometimes in its own thread!) and then the random post from the same guy 10 days later;

or, equally hilarious,

2) the self-righteous posts that insist "this is the last post I will make on this subject and then I will say no more. " and then 10 minutes later "And one more thing...".

He told me he is not coming back. He said he wants a fresh start and the reason he left had nothing to do with TP, or anyone else.
