Drove down I-69 from Fort Wayne towards Indy this morning. Every stinking bridge was a sheet of ice. Crashes and spinouts abounded. It's like nobody read the forecast and they didn't spray the bridges in advance.

It was 60 degrees on Monday. Now we're getting ripped with wind and snow.

Sunday it is supposed to be 50 degrees again. WTF

Some jag wrecked on the 20 bypass near mayflower
Some worse jag (maybe macirish) wrecked on us30 just west of CC. THANKS dicks for putting me behind on the first barely icy day of the year.
This is your fault for driving on 30…

So we have had a very warm fall this year, and now BOOM, predicting 6-8 inches of snow here in Pennsylvania.
Buckle up brother! Be safe!

Won't be the only 6 - 8" the lady gets tonight...

climate change isnt real. It's just regular weather patterns. Go about your business as usual.

Sorry couldn't resist.
I think it is weather patterns actually. People are talking about El Nino being back and the hot summer we just had, along with the stronger than normal tropical storms that were in the Atlantic. Now we're looking at La Nina with the colder than normal temperatures and possible excessive precipitation in the northern Midwest, North West, and North California while the South West and South East will see even less rainfall.

You’re a boss with this update. Finished in ftw@10:45 next stop was kokomo. Took 24 to 31 and stayed off that mess. Had a little taste of it in the pm going from Marion to muncie and it was bad.

Well Mother Nature must be mad. She dumped about 6"-7" in the Indy area. Southern IN got between 10"-15". Looks like a lot of the Midwest got hit. Streets in SE Indy were plowed overnight, but still crappy. Safe travels if you have to go out.

Up in Muncie we were supposed to get between 7-12" as of Friday. That dropped to 5-7" by Saturday. Snow never really began in my area until the middle of the night though. I'm guessing we got 2".

Southwest part of Indiana ... 6" of snow first and then topped with sleet yesterday afternoon and evening. Some more snow forecasted thru midday today. Luckily, real feel temp will be in mid-teens (a lot better than that sub-zero crap). Damn glad to be retired and no concerns of having to get out in a hurry for snow removal.

8 1/2 inches this morning in Zionsville (northwest suburb of Indy). These southerners struggle with it 🫤

Made it no problem to start in court in Lafayette this am but everyone that was to come up from Indy area couldn’t make it. Usually it’s other way around.

Fun drive this AM. Got about 8" just outside Cincinnati...more to come...
Yup, that's about what we got in Carlisle between Dayton and Cinci.
I'm gettin' too old for shovelin'...and too fat. Time for the kids to take over. I shouldn't be doin' it anyway after two back surgeries.

So jealous of you all. I live in Minnesota and we have no snow on the ground. We are off to winter camp this weekend (Scouts) and nothing to play in.

I heard a lot about a Polar Vortex, but damn if it didn't miss us. It's been above the last few days.
