We were coming home from Albany, GA back in 91? Snow came down heavy and quick. We had to stay at some flea bag motel off of 19 in Americus. The next morning we were getting weird looks as we passed people who were going 20mph because they weren't use to driving in the snow. We saw one garbage truck in Atlanta with a snow blade on the front.lol and a run on toilet paper. I lived in Atlanta burb for over 25 years before moving to the Twin Cities. The city would legit just shut down after an inch of snow and the grocery stores would be empty. I lived at the bottom of this big hill, and even with four-wheel-drive couldn’t get up at times because it was so icy! No or very little salt trucks/plows!!
