Just a little time waster. It's not really a color blind test, it's more of a color intensity test. Lots of people characterized as color blind seem to do very well. I got as far as 36, but I got lucky on that attempt:

It's easier to see the irregular color if you use your peripheral vision. It's actually harder if you look straight at it.

Yeah, I have to agree. Looking at the big picture makes it easier to sort it out, but it still gets tough around 26-28.

Same. I had problems with some dark blues and some darker colors in general.

Got to be honest, I didn't feel like I could see the different square after like 10, but somehow I kept getting them. When the color initially flashes on the screen, that's when it's easiest to tell which square, but if you miss it on the initial flash, you're kinda screwed.

I got 25, a hawk.

I do not have great vision, but apparently I've got a decent color spectrum. PS - don't they say women can see more colors than men? (Looking at you now, Buster...)

Peripheral (like Bob said), is WAY easier. My score almost doubled.

When I was younger I was told after taking a color blindness test that I was color blind on certain colors-I just scored 29-something is wrong or maybe my eyes have changed. I' m no Hawkeye.

My brother is red and green color blind. Other colors tend to appear as a shade of gray. He asks if his slacks, shirt and coat "work together." If he sticks to suits with a white shirt he's fine, though he might need help choosing a tie.

We were playing a round of golf some years back on a course on some island in Georgia. He grabbed a handful of tees in the pro shop. They were red, but he didn't know it. Sure enough, he hits his drive on the first hole and the tee goes flying. I had to find it for him since the tee and the green grass were all the same "color" to him.

I traded my white tees for his red and the problem was solved.
