Howe's name has been mentioned for the England job for a few years. If they dump Tuchel and Howe is still available, that should line up.

Newcastle's sale was the end of the line for the FA. They simply could not have the disruption for the "Big Six." It's pretty ridiculous how some teams are allowed to keep their players and others are not.

I have seen a few people here and there picking them to go down. I don't see it, but they have been hit hard by outgoings, including their manager.

Just have to hope Gozo gets significant time, even if it is in domestic cups. The training should be very good day to day.

We’re seeing this stuff too much anymore in youth sports.

I honestly think it’s because the only “fun” thing kids do anymore is play sports in super structured settings. There’s such less bike riding, playing pickup basketball games, getting in little scraps over a wiffle ball game, etc. that they just are not socially and emotionally ready to handle frustration.

If nothing else went on in preparation for that outburst, that kid is a psychopath-in-waiting.

I choose to believe that the opponent was bad-mouthing his Mom all game, plus the kid gets a year off sports "time-out."

(I had a relative who got a year's time out in high school, but it only half helped.)
