This is just heartbreaking. I'm devastated. After only two weeks of marriage, Pam Anderson and husband #5 Jon Peters have called it quits. If Pam can't make it work by her fifth marriage, what hope is there for the rest of us? Tragic.

I would imagine he found she was pretty worn out.

So now PETA is saying we shouldn't call dogs, cats, etc., "pets"......

"Pets" is derogatory and we should call them companions.

What's next, Pet, no sorry, "companion" suffrage?

Did anyone catch Joaquin Phoenix's acceptance speech about cows? Holy cow (pun intended) that was bizarre. I'm all for treating animals with kindness, but this guy is a basket case.

80s is beyond my ceiling, but she's aged well.
She was still a nice fit piece in her 60s...

hard to believe this is 80 for her...

She's had a little help, but she's been on an exercise/health routine for ages and it's served her well.

Sustainable diamonds? lol

By their very nature diamonds are sustainable. If you're truly concerned about our natural resources Jane, why even buy gold or diamond jewelry?

I think she's talking about the labor and mining aspects.

She's still a momo,.. and you're still disgusting for considering having at it with a 80 year old piece of plastic.

Like I said, 80s is well beyond my ceiling regardless of how well kept she is. And you're the one that brought her into the worn out mitt conversation. I bet you have a Barbarella poster hanging above your bed.

I will say, here fitness routine + plastic likely has her less "weenie down the hall" than Pamela....

When I was a weee chico I got a “scholarship” to attend Jane Fonda’s summer camp near Santa Barbara. One day we had a football game. I smashed Jake Busey and made him cry. The Laurel Springs community definitely did not appreciate “Mountain Football”.

The Poors on Twitter are having an absolute meltdown about people who recline in economy seats on airplanes.

Confirmed that Wiz not only reclines, but takes the arm rests of the person in the middle seat and probably leans on them too. Also he takes his shoes off in the plane.

But the far more relevant airplane-related Tweet that took off recently is the following one. It's just another example of how anti-life our country is.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">If you can’t handle a baby crying on a plane like an adult who lives in society, have some self respect and drink yourself into a stupor. <a href="https://t.co/AlPplRW7Bc">https://t.co/AlPplRW7Bc</a></p>— Michael Brendan Dougherty (@michaelbd) <a href="https://twitter.com/michaelbd/status/1227395633599873025?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">February 12, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

We are reaching a point (have already reached?) where community and shared understanding of things like babies, children, people, etc. is gone. We are so self absorbed and live isolated to the point that a baby is seen as a major inconvenience.

My favorite theater chain down here (the Alamo) basically bans babies outside of special showings. My friends couldn't see Silence back in 2016 because of the theater's policy.

Every person on any flight longer than three hours reclines and takes their shoes off.

I just flew Boston to Honolulu direct. 11 hours there and 9 hours back. Every single seat in that plane was reclined the entire time, shoes were off, and my children behaved themselves (for the most part).

I don't know anybody other than you and these two dutch hippies who hadn't showered in weeks that take their shoes off on planes...

As long as they’re keeping their socks on, I have no issue. NO BARE FEET

First class passengers even get slippers included in their amenity kits it's so common.

I wouldn't take them off on a quick flight to Chicago or Atlanta, but anything much longer than that, sure.

Nothing is worse than being on a plane, sandwiched next to fat guy who takes all your armrest and a third of your actual seat so you can’t even sit back without getting way more intimate than you’d ever want, which forces you the sit forward but you can’t because jackass in front of you reclined back all while the baby behind you goes ape shit the entire flight.

I understand people and feel their collective pain so I’m not a dick but does massively suck and I frankly hate air travel bc stuff like that. I’m less sympathetic about babies in theaters. You do not have to go there and when that was my season of life I chose not to go if I couldn’t find a sitter because it’s massively disrespectful to those who paid good money ( and it’s really expensive now let’s face it) only to have my kid inevitably cry in the middle of the film, just my two cents on that,...

My two cents since I rarely can get direct flights: the entitled douchebags who insist on carrying on yet take their sweet time getting their oversized luggage out of the overhead bin causing the folks behind him/her to miss their connection. They should always announce that those who have arrived at their final destination to sit tight until the travelers trying to connect deplane.

People lose all sense of etiquette and sensibility when they are in an airport.

1) Standing in line to get to a preassigned seat.
2) Pushing people around to fit your carry-on in the overhead.
3) Standing up immediately when the plane reaches the gate and cutting in front of other people.
4) Listening to absurdly loud music on shitty headphones
5) YELLING at airline employees about weather delays or other issues. You can be mad without letting the entire airport know what issue you are encountering.
6) Loudly complaining about TSA agents doing their job. It's like people forget 9/11 ever happened.
7) Putting a sweater or some other item of clothing in an overhead bin (unless it is on top of your own bag)
8) Trying to put huge bottles of liquids in your carry on and then complaining that TSA is making you throw it away.

Anyone who reclines their seat on a domestic flight deserves any abuse given to them. It makes traveling 5-10% more comfortable. So basically not even worth it considering how douchey it makes you look. I don't really have a problem with it on international flights but only if you are sleeping. If you are reading or watching a movie you better have that seat upright.

I've been on flights where people will recline their seat BEFORE takeoff, unrecline it for 2 seconds when the flight attendant tells them to, and put it right back when after the attendant walks away.

On the shoes topic, I think it's fine to remove your shoes on an international flight or coast-coast flight, but you must be wearing socks.

By the way, the fact that airlines have not yet figured out that they should seat people from the back of the plane to the front blows my mind.

This. And checked bag fees are a major problem with the efficiency of loading and unloading as well. Just raise the prices of every ticket, but make checked bags included. A family of four (including a baby and a six year old) with a carry-on bag each is way more of a problem than if they had just checked a single fifty pound bag and then carried on nothing but their backpack/briefcase/purse/Nintendo.

Better yet, eliminate overhead bins entirely. Make everybody check anything that doesn't fit under the seat in front of you.

Oh they’ve figured it out but choose not to. I asked why since it would be more efficient for all. Airline said it’s courtesy to their first-class/business class customers who pay more.

I think it’s fair to say that those in 1st class/biz class are intelligent to realize that the most efficient way to board a plane is back to front. Are they that childish about being “first’ that they can comfortably wait at the gate before boarding after all the “riff raff” & not inconvenienced by everyone brushing up against them as they walk past first class.

Co-signed

I’ve always posited that they should charge u for carrying on a bag and be able to check at least one for free

Agree on the overhead bins,... just get rid of them.
