I have a staff meeting every Monday morning. Today one of the guys says after going to the grocery this weekend he stopped at a gun store and bought a case of ammo in case things got bad. I just shook my head in sadness.

Our owner conferred with our attorney and just sent out a memo. It states anyone that needs to be off will have the time granted, but will have to use vacation and sick time in order to get paid. After they exhaust that, they can have up to three weeks of pay advanced if they wish. Travel is restricted and no visitors allowed.

My company hadn't even formed a committee to determine whether we should work from home until this weekend. I'm guessing by the end of the week I'll be working from home.

My wife and I have no choice and not worried as we are both healthy and youngish. Shes a branch manager at 3 different bank branches, and i'm guessing you want your money. I own a DQ and a landscaping/pond business. Drive-through is already crazy busy at DQ and yard tasks can't be accomplished from my desk. Headed to Corndance for dinner in about an hour.

Agree. Feels like a way to cut the amount of Social Security benefits being paid out. I don't think it's a coincidence that the elderly (those collecting benefits) are dying at a disproportionately higher rate. Guess the Republicans thought this would be easier than having to vote on it.
